Happy to note the development on travel by train. Whether the poor man can travel/salaried class would be able to bear the cost. Ok you may tell the other way, they can go by passenger train. The senior citizens should also be covered.
For a country like India, bullet train is sheer waste because it is too expensive where a common man cannot afford. Instead they can increase the speed of the existing train and also increase the facility inside the trains like clean toilet and provision of water facilities in the washbasins and functioning of the ceiling fans and hooks in each compartment for hanging the bags and frequent maintenance inside the train and one security guard in each compartment to avoid pilferage of passengers belongings etc. More over I find most of the stations there is a gap between the train and the platforms. If by mistake placed their legs in the gap their legs can get amputated, eg. Kalyan junction. Like this there are so many stations i need not say. Railway Department should come forward to take care of all these things. Then we can think of Bullet trains and rocket trains etc.
Bullet on Ahmedabad - Mumbai route is sere wastage bof public funds n will prove white elephant.Go on rethinking on this proposal till you decide to drop it. Run Talgo dump bullet
PROPOSAL TO BUILD AND RUN BULLET TRAIN WITH COLLABORATION OF JAPAN AND CHINA.IT IS OF NO USE TO COMMON MAN.RAIL TICKETS WILL BE COSTLY.IF OPPOSITION PARTY BEFORE ELECTION MAKES A CAMPAIGN THAT BULLET TRAIN IS ONLY FOR RICH.I SUGGEST GO FOR TALGO SPAIN COACHES.MORE ECONOMICAL AND MORE USEFUL FOR INDIAN CONDITION.ABONDON BULLET TRAIN AT THE MOMENT.

I do not agree with his opinion as I find common man traveling by air. Money is not the problem. People look more about the facility.

If money is not the problem, let private parties build and operate bullet train. The fact is that bullet trains are very expensive to build, operate and maintain. due to which they tend to be economically unviable. and will need tax payers money to sutan them.
