It's Class
by Logan D on Jul 15, 2016 06:43 PM  | Hide replies

This Talgo train is class.

Now we have classes within trains i.e., poor man's class ( II class ), middle class ( Sleeper Class ) and rich class ( A/C ) within a single train.

Times have changed and we started having rich class trains i.e., Rajdhani and Shatabdi. This reflected the affordability of Indians. Obviously we will be having more of these and less of the traditional trains. I remember there were no new trains in last two years.

Fastest Train

I will be happy if the trains are faster and also comfortable to sit and sleep in! Good looks also would be welcome! The present ones look like the oldest and the fittings also are exactly the same as in the early ones!

"pay back to the society "
by sanjay kulshrestha on Jul 15, 2016 04:08 PM  | Hide replies

try to learn indian railways is designed for poor people who want to reach at their places , imagine for those who waited for long hours or even few days to catch the train train comes but not even to enter due to high volume crowd if enter in the train not able to sit till the end of journey , can you count that kind of people these very high in nos. included newly born child to a dis able old
But we work for speed and facilities for those who are already have second option like luxury taxi , air service , fast food point , snacks , hotel , etc .
ALWAYS REMEMBER RAILWAYS IS FOR POOR PEOPLE NOT IS SECOND OPTION FOR THOSE WHO CAN HAVE ANOTHER SERVICES WITH PRICE
it is hard fact for india we are trying to collect popularity in place of "pay back to serve the society " a society where from we are earning and getting differenr services

You are right when you say that every passenger should get proper Birth/Seat while traveling. But it is also necessary that we have fast and good trains like Metro, High speed, Bullet trains with AC.
So we should also admire above efforts.
Only one sided development is not true.

we should be more careful as to our common poor commuters of RAILWAYS in the scheduled time of ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE,then only enough of governance.

if we can achieve average speed of 100 KM/Hr which is currently 40-50 Km/hr (excluding faster ones). This will be great achievement.

Convert the single line tracks to double line track.
Lots of tax payers money is wasted in stopping the trains crossing. Sir, pls thing of as lot of diesel is wasted in the waiting time at the crossing. Thing twice before going for a faster train.
