this the end of growth
by santosh pawar on Feb 12, 2016 04:05 PM

if this reservation comes to private sector the growth is going to be zero. to day there are ppl who have taken benefit of this reservation in getting admission in engg or medical then to get gov job after that they get [paid and there economic status has improve but still when this person children to be admitted they again take benefit of reservation . there are ppl of third generation who are now taking benefit of reservation like there father and grand fathers had taken. it is time this policy should be based on economic criteria rather than on birth cast.

NO POINT IN ARGUEING - BE PRACTICAL-SOLUTION TO RES. POLICY
by abhay manudhane on Feb 12, 2016 03:55 PM  | Hide replies

HEY GUYS. NO POINT IN ARGUING. RESERVATION IS BOUND TO CONTINUE IN THIS COUNTRY.

Lets be practical. No Government can afford to abolish reservation. It is sad that in name of reservation even President of India/Chief Justice of India's children can claim benefit. There is no social justice. And in reality those poor really deserving SC guys do not even get the SC certificate and are deprived of benefits.

Only solution is to move Supreme Court with WRIT PETITION and ensure that NO RESERVATION BENEFIT TO:
1) Those who clained once in life time and to their lineal desendents.
2) Children of President/ SC & HC Judges / Ministers/ MPs/ MLAs/Surpanch/ Corporators etc.
3)Children of Class II and onwards officers of Cent/State Govt officers etc.
4)Children of Income tax Tax payers
5) Any one who travelled overseas for whtever reason except Military person
6)Children of any one who held land exceeding certain limit at any time in past.
7) Any such category.

With such reforms, 95% of persons demanding reservations will automatically be disqualified and real deserving poor SC will get benefits for which none of us should have any objections.

And mind you, IF IT IS IMPLEMENTED, NO PATELS OR JATS OR OTHER ELITE COMMUNITIES WILL EVER MAKE AGITATION FOR RESERVATIONS. And real justice to really poor deserving SC guys in rural India whose condition is really pathatic. None of us will ever object if reservation benefit given to these poor, deserving SC/OBC people.

PLEASE REMEMBER, CONSTITUTION PROVIDES FOR RESERVATION ON CAST BASIS N NOT ECONOMIC CRITERIA.

NO GOVERNMENT CAN AFFORD TO ABOLISH IT. BUT ECONOMIC CRITERIA CAN BE PUT IN THE NAME OF SOCIAL JUSTICE. IN INDIA CHIEF JUSTICEs CHILDREN AND BABU JAGJIVAN RAM's DAUGHTER (LS SPEAKER) AND HER CHILDREN ARE CLAIMING RESERVATION. WHERE IS SOCIAL JUSTICE IF THEY CLAIM RESERVATION? THIS IS ONLY POINT TO ARGUE AND COURT IS BOUND TO CONSIDER IT.

IT IS BOUND TO HAPPEN TODAY OR TOMOROW. AND IF IT HAPPENS, NOT EVEN 5% CLAIMENTS FOR EDUCATIONAL RESERVATION AND 2-3% JOB RESERVATION CLAIMENTS WILL BE THERE.
LET GOVT. CONTINUE RESERVATION FOR POOR SC/ST ONLY. NONE OF US WILL EVER OBJECT FOR SUCH POORS CLAIMING BENEFITS(In any case it will be negligible and over the period will be zero) and automatically reservation policy will be defunct.

Reservation is an affront to human right
by NIRJHAR MAJUMDAR on Feb 12, 2016 03:42 PM  | Hide replies

It is my human right to get fair treatment from the State. If some people can not get proper education because of poverty,it is the duty of government to provide free education to them. You can not give them the chance to study in IIT or get employment in government service. What is the guarantee that the person who has been admitted to IIT is poor or downtrodden? When you have no mechanism to check, how can you give him that seat? I appeal all government servants (belonging to SC/ST/OBC) to ask their children to compete with the general candidates. What nonsense is going on under the name of reservation?

Based on your argument, is it that you want to say that despite the fact that there is no proper education for backwards, they should get plum positions now in Private Sector also as their right???? Why don't you people raise the same pitch to get better education and then compete normally with the rest of the country. If the base is strong then one does not have to worry about job prospects in future sir.

You people change your argument as per your convinces. Isn't your this argument was applicable before 1950. Majority policy maker, teachers, bureaucrat are you bright people , who doesn't want us to compete. You can not ignore caste-ism is most of the education institution today also.

Indian politics running on majority caste base population.
by laxman on Feb 12, 2016 03:01 PM  | Hide replies

Look at our states politics from north to south & east to west.
Whose population is more they will lead from village to state & nation. Example: Kashmir only Muslim are dominated, Bihar & U.P . Yadav & Upper caste Brahmins, Maharastra Maratha, Karnataka Vakiga, Lingayat Telangan & Andhra Pradesh Reddys & Kama etc…
Recent year we have identified that our IAS IPS & IFS officer working under the 9th & 10std candidate,
Even though after completing 68 years of Independent, How our education is developed? It is shameto us .How we are electing our representative since 68 years?
So, now we want to understand that to elect our leader, irrespective their caste, religion region that they are efficient & strong, he is able to take strong decisions without hesitating.
His first intention is that within stipulated time frame our country should develop.
No doubt, our Prime Minister Mr. Narandar Modi are giving strong speeches & assurance but in real life there is on fruitful to common man. We want action with time frame, not assurance
good luck to our voter, who are electing their representative without taking any bribe & under any influence whatever form may be.

people like you always see the same in castigate eyes that is our nation is in backyard. politicians take advantage of your fear & rule in the name of caste & religion. the only thing backward caste requires opportunity for education , better health care & communication to improve their life style. rest will follow automatically. for that reservation in job is absolute bogus idea. it failed for last 67 years. people who benefited from reservations, don't care for his caste or native areas. they started living in posh areas, forgets their roots & their prosperous family takes advantages of the same there on. time has come to eradicate all sorts of reservation from jobs to grow further.

Reservations for economically backward
by bappaditya gupta on Feb 12, 2016 02:03 PM  | Hide replies

Remove caste based reservations & implement reservations for economically backward people irrespective of caste, creed or religion. Reservations should be valid upto 10 2 level only for persons with family annual income less than 3.0 lacs per annum. All current & former SC & HC judges, IAS & allied services, MP’s / MLA’s / MLC’s, IIT-ans, Doctors & their wards who have already enjoyed the privilege of reservations earlier should be specifically debarred from availing any kind of reservations subsequently. Government should provide all sort of facillities & scholarships to students of weaker sections of society, upto 12 th standard only, so that they become able to compete with the rest of the society. After that, there should be no reservations in any field – education or jobs, & merit & quality only should be the criteria for selections. This only can help in making a knowledgeable & strong India which can take on the world in the days to come. It is a matter of shame & anguish that the our politicians have failed to stop this menace of reservations which is weakening the country in terms of knowledge & merit for their own narrow political compulsions.

1947 is different from 2016.Reservation in 1947 was a tool to support people suffered from discrimination but in 2016 it is just votes politics.
