By accepting the demands of opposition, the ruling govt. have not lost their face. It is the opposition who once again showed their inefficiency by obstructing the changes in the Land bill by the NDA.
No harm in promoting competition among the States . The politicians at the Centre need not think they are the wisest guys - let the State politicians have a free say.

Who is stopping him from working. BJP doesn't have the leverage of saying that as they are in absolute majority.
Development of the Country is governed by its GDP. Contribution to GDP by agriculture sector - land wise and PPl wise is more but monetary value of Agricultural produce is far less than the Industrial produce. Less than .001 percent of total agricultural land is being taken for Industrialization for Govt purpose [not pvt ]. Political Survival of each party depend that modi does not do Development. The moment Modi does not do development Opp will speak loudly that modi has no done anything. Why everyone is opposed to land bill is that they are afraid Modi might finish smaller parties completely. These ppl who keep their political survival ahead of Country's development are traitors o Country. Just create a false Pic of Modi and brand him as Anti- Farmer and get elected. That is the Sole criteria for opposing land bill.
Media certainly needs to act like opposition in a democracy. But it is not necessary to join with the opposition parties of Parliament. However our media exactly do that. Our media is a mixture of Congress & Communist. Media has its agenda fixed, they are not free. And that is why no constructive work can be done smoothly in this country and very reason of surviving Congress party.
In the interest of our Nation, the Land bill should not be pursued by the Central Government!!
It should become a state subject and the state government should act on land bill as per the state requirement!! This will encourage the state government to act freely and will not object to every project given by center and since this will be state subject they would act in the best possible manner to attract investment!!
Only the for central projects the Central government will as state to allocate land for the central project requirement and state government will have to oblige central government to give land for national interest projects!!

It is being mentioned on the bill and Pm has cleared on Man Ki Baat - state govt. hold the rights to implement the bill or not.

There's no embarrassment.. Land is state subject. And as Swamy says let the industrialist buy it n why should central govt help in buying.. Modi had over board n time it's passed without much a dos.
