Pl. don't shower your generosity through such word, which is a misfit for me. If my little knowledge is of any help to promote green and clean energy, I shall consider myself blessed.

Single window under District Collector Directly

Rural Solar Projects. 1. Will Govt or state govt give grid connectivity to pvt individuals readily 2. will govt give required permissions for right of way for putting up evacuation lines to nearest power station32 KV easily 3. If right of way is to be given by private individuals whos lands power lines/evacuation lines (Generation point to nearest 32 KV power station)will solar power entrepreneur can get this issue resolved with out Govt intervention? All said&done is electricity department is eager enough to welcome solar energy entrepreneurs and buy the solar power? If electricty department is proactive then only this solar power will be a great resource. Then Battery backed Solar power plant will not be economical or useful or effective or even good interms of power quality. So the moaral Is Govt staff, officials and so called top officials cheange their athitude for the nation and its development and then protection of environment and conservation of noan renewable natural resources like coal solar power will nat take off. Just as banks give rad caorpet welcome to big depasiters district collectors must come forward to give rad caarpet welcome to small land owners (Dry lad) who can come forwrad to set up 50KWH to 1 lakh KWH solar plants and single window shall be established for technical, admin, putting up rght of way lines evacuation lines, solar power purchase approval instantly by electricty dept, instant grid connectivty sanction, coordination and subsidy related

Every State Govt.should encourage such project. When WB state allows the grid connectivity, why not other states? The cost of solar power generation is 6.50 rupees per KWhr now which is higher compared to coal based power which costs only 3.50 rupees but in the long run solar power will be much cheaper and in addition we can avoid enormous amount of carbon emissions and can also save our precious fossils. Germany produces 22000 MW power through solar energy system where only 80 clear sunny days are available whereas we have nearly 300 days in India.Another important point is to start manufacturing photovoltaic solar panels. Now China is the world leader in this segment. If we don't do that now,we have to import huge volume of panels from other countries. It is high time the Govt. has to give a thrust in this important sector not only to cater to our energy needs but also to give a safe pollution free environment to our next generations.

I fully agree. The german formula is worth looking at and the 300 days of sunlight.I only hope the grid will not ask for under the table to buy the electricity from private party. Tables turned...?

Exactly. Unless the highest authority in the state/country takes personal care of single window and gives full power to Dist Collector and a clear day to supervision mechanism over electricty dept and grod connectivity dept including uninterrupted purchase of solar power from entrepreneur is closely supervised the petthy ofhicials squeaeze the entrepreneur. If coraption is taken out solar power can be soald at Rs.3 per unit and solar power is nat just need of economic activity but environmental necessity. Even if coal reserves are much more than adequate solar power must be promoted fuul length to protect environment and mother nature. That shall be the energy policy thrust and then only all pethy ofphysials faaalin line.

This system I have seen in Australia where solar panels are fitted on indivisual houses & no need to storage the electricity in battery as it goes directly to grid and consumer gets remuneration for generation which is adjusted in his bill in which sometimes customer gets rfund because his production is more than his consumption. This system can we apply in India everywhere?

It is one of the finest approach to develop self reliance. More such things should happen with enabling and affordable technology. Small house hold models are needed for remote villages and households.
