It is very nice to see your response. You can very well install Solar Power Plant on Rooftop shadow free area. Besides economic advantages, you will contribute tremendously for your next generation.

http://www.emmveesolar.com/ I am using their system
With the number of buildings in each city and town, there is tremendous potential for solar power generation. We can survive on solar energy itself and not be dependent on coal and gas.

How politicians will survive. How congress will survive with coalgate like scams. Getting power connection we have to pay 25K bribe in Metro city for each 3 phase connection. How does this corrupt politicians will allow us to use grid connected solar plants. INDIAN POLITICIANS WILL NEVER CHANGE THEIR ATTITUDE.
I am impressed by your work I stay in Mumbai suburbs kindly share your email id so as to contact & seek your advice for installing Solar panels at my residence which I am constructing newly.

It is nice to see your immediate positive note. You need approximately 115 Sq.ft. shadow free area on your Rooftop for 1KWp capacity Plant. Depending upon your electrical requirement, total area would be calculated. At present price range shall be around Rs.1.0 lakh per KWp. Subsidy from MNRE, Govt. of India through your State Renewable Development Agency shall be passed on to you. If Maharashtra Govt. is offering some more subsidy, that shall also be added.

Thanks for your pro-active response. Pl. go ahead with your Plan. I shall help you with my little knowledge, so that you can contribute effectively for our children and grandchildren with a better environment to live in.
To encourage more green energy, Govt should subsidize the cost of PV panels so that the aam aadmi in most villages and other inaccessible areas not connected to the grid could have electricity.

Ministry of Renewable Energy, Govt. of India is doing their best to promote Alternative Energy. Public awareness through easy to understand language focussing mainly on Cost Economics and Availability Channel shall clear all clouds. Govt. subsidy and Bank soft loans are already in place.
Even though this person has taken the lead to utilize something available commercially in the market for the betterment of community and environment, the credit for this must go to the govt departments who made this possible.
