2997 Cr for statue, but not for farmers who sucides.Irony of India, where farmers loan amt like just few thousands (not lakh even) does not get waived off and they does sucides and govt spenda 2997 crore on just statue..All vidharbha farmers loan can not exceed 1000 cr ...but in india farmer or poor ppl dont have value as per government. No wonder some anti-Nationals who so far succeeded in dividing Indians on the basis of Religion and stopped development and looted the people's hard earned wealth and were eagerly hoping for the collapse of the country are now threatened by the prospect of the people of India uniting under the new Government. This prospect has ruined their hidden agenda of destroying India. Now they are very desperate. That is the reason now they are paying huge amounts out of the looted money to paid media writers to author and publish articles like this. Otherwise why any civilized being on this earth will oppose Unity of people? I strongly condemn the idea behind this article.

hah ...khan should understand what is respecting our own country is. Not rapid islamisation that his friends in pakistan or India ar edoing.
Going by the same standard, the then USA should'nt have constructed the Statue of Liberty. If Statue of Liberty has at all instilled a sense of pride in the average American, I dont see a reason why it cannot instill pride in us Indians!!! The problem is that we as a nation have given birth to two countries. When one tries to break limits the other tries to pull it down by putting further barriers. And I suppose the blog writer belongs to the second category

You idiot, Statue of Liberty was NOT constructed by US. It was a constructed and gifted by France. Also, at the time, both countries were already developed and rich.

Dont we all spend lakhs, for a house, a symbol of family pride. Those who sold their soles for money obviously cannot understand that. My friend, you keep thinking that - your thinking does not change the status of Modi!. We all believe in him and trust him to do the right thing.
For a developing country like India, spending 3000 crores on a statue is a criminal waste of money and resources. Particularly, in the condition that the country is today.
On one hand, Modi is asking elected officials to cut wasteful spending by asking them to travel in economy class. And he is also trying to retrieve thousands of crores of black money which would otherwise be a loss for the country.On the other hand, he is wasting Rs.3000 crores of valuable tax money on a statue? That is ridiculous double standards.
Modi famously said that India needs more toilets than temples. Just imagine how many public toilets can be build in Rs.3000 crores! Or elementary schools.
Millions of our children are sitting on mud floors in our village schools. ALL of them can be provided with better facilities.
Million of our children don't go to school because of distance. Modi can give them ALL bicycles to go to school.
I can go on listing how we can effectively use the Rs.3000 crores for India's development. Building a statue merely serves political posturing.
India is still reeling from the loss of lakhs of crores of rupees looted during Congress rule. So we need to be extra careful in spending our money.
Every leader makes mistakes. Modi made the mistake of building the statue as an election promise. But good leaders have the ability to correct themselves. I call upon Modi to correct himself, and abandon the statue, which would only be a eye sore on the face of India.
The writer should wear plain sary and hawaichapall. she must eat chapatti and pyaj only. That is sufficient for survival.She must also leave in a kucha hut met without any aide. If so i will agree with her.If otherwise it will transpire she is working with some anti national motives.
