Mayawati steals big directly.

Modi helps the biggest thieves in India - Ambani and such others - steal much bigger amounts than all the Mayawatis of the country put together !

I feel it is needed
by Manish Madhukar on Nov 04, 2014 01:59 AM

Well, it is so easy to demean such exercises and perhaps most of the folks talk like that, but I do believe such things are required by progressive India where India has to build some global image. That does not lower the priority of educaiton, home and food for everyone but then we have to look into all aspects. For that matter, even the writer might be spending money for lot of luxuries which perhaps can be done away with and the money can be given to poor of this country but does one do that? Lets say I go and buy a costly movie ticket or eating in a costly restaurant which can definitely be avoided and money can be given to underprivileged class but we don't always do that.
We are building several costly temples and museaums and masjids. One can always argue whats the need with the same logic. But we do that and so it is important to develop in all aspects. We have to go to MARS, we have to spend on defence, we have to spend on such iconic figures and at the same time we have to spend on education, food and housing. All has to go together hand in hand. We require BMW in India and the at same time we need Nano as well.

Don't be surprised - Modi's silence
by joz on Nov 03, 2014 11:28 PM

Modi will be silent till his speech writers give him a decent answer. Else it will be filth that will come out of his mouth. That's the reason why he won't address a press conference. He does not have the ability to give sensible instant answers. He can give only one to one interviews where the questions are prepared and given in advance. Poor we Indians. We go head over heels when he open his mouth as if its gold which flows from him.

Modi WILL NOT LISTEN to reason. The Patel statue is just another "feather" in his cap or thats what he thinks. The "statue of unity" is nothing but a farce being played on the people of India, like the Swachh Bharat nonsense, the "bringing back" of black money from abroad fiasco and the Rs. 15 lakh in each citizens pocket lie.

Commie Author's ridiculous arguements
by Rao Fakir on Nov 03, 2014 10:45 PM  | Hide replies

This leftist author has no clue of economics...the Sardar Statue is planned to be a 'for-profit' venture as the tourists revenues are going to pay it off so this is not some kind of wasted effort like putting Gandhi Statues in every filthy road in India (as is the case all over India). This jehaadi-sympathysing author talks about Tirlokpuri riots without telling authors that it was the Jehadias who attacked Diwali celebrations as they did not want 'kafir' festivals in their middle...what kind of secularism these parasites (in grab of Journalists) want to practice in India where Diwali is not allowed to celebrate in their own country?

It is unfortunate that there are people like you without any skills who may find hard to get decent paying job even in a booming economy powered by Modi Govt. but since 20,000 labourers are needed to build Sardar Statue project and 200,000 people needed to build new Bullet Trains, I am sure even you can find a job. With stock market booming, companies are hiring left and right but some unfortunate ones without any skills (other than Modi bashing)...also those who are out of job are the vote bank politicians and pseudo-seculaists who were on payroll of Congress...but now that Congress has disappeared from face of India, they will have to apply for 'food for work' program that is still available.

Rao Fakir, calling names is a tactic adopted by little children who do not know how to debate. You seem to be one of them. Whatever happened at Trilokpuri is a blot on the Modi Government, whichever you may look at it. You seem to be nothing but a voice of the RSS who talks modern while having a middle ages attitude.
