Kodumannai An ancientTamil site forSteel Makers
by D goel on Jun 17, 2012 08:46 AM  | Hide replies

D. Goel pkl. morning 8.50AM.Sunday , June 17, 2012.
It is very interesting thatArchaeologists have ,now, found some evidence at thesite which has only shown some Potsherds with Sangam epigraphs.
Now we findreasons to believe that place wasalso made for making Carbon Steel thatwassentas far as north undia and it is arguedthefamous rustless Pillar ,now standing atkutab Minar wasxaste outof this steel, in 3rdCentury.
Theconstruction of historical narrativeson the basis of bits of sundry evidence is atanyrate a greatflightof the historical imagination, thatcould produce very dissimilar narratives. D. Goel

IF you get a chance to review the postgraduate theses produced at most Universities in India you will find the description in this article tame enough.

Reading all the messages, one can derive one conclusion for sure: India has been and still remains a deeply divided nation along all sorts of real and imaginary ideas. More importantly the cultural baggage we carry from our "understanding" of India(s)is too heavy for us to actually progress towards a progressive cohesiveness. No wonder, more than the archaeologists and the scientists, politicians flourish!!!

Well known history of the Dravidians
by Pure Dravidian on Jun 16, 2012 11:43 AM  | Hide replies

The myth of Aryan culture created by certain Brahmin circles has been disproved in all instances. What they did was adopting Dravidian culture, technology and thoughts and study it. It's not a surprise when we look at the present State, where Dravidians clearly dominate despite that the British helped only the Brahmins or brainwashed North Indians. Kodumanal and other historical sites are under constant observation by evil forces and should be protected by TN police adequately.

well said your thoughts, food, manners and behavioureally reflects a great culture. We too are aware of no southies ever participated in freedom struggle and also demanded tamil as national language but it never worked so now in corporates you form your own groups and your auto walas get extra 20 -30 bucks rest all is fine forget history we remember your great LTTE army hiding behind children and women we know it man verywell

I do not know where you are coming from. In India except few places all auto walas demands extra 20 - 30 bucks. It seems you have visited only Chennai (Tamil Nadu) otherwise you would have known this open secret of taking extra bucks. Every region has its own food items, do not redicule it since you have not find your favourite at Tamil Nadu. Also go thru the History thourougly, so that you will find how many tamilians participated in Freedom Struggle and Tamilians never demanded Tamil as a National language what they demanded is Hindi should not be national language. Before wriiting any comments know the facts.

Our Indian civilization is 8000 years old across Inda...

You forgot to mention the involvement of British stooge Nehru and his ban i ya cohort Gandhi in propagating the lie.

These two crooks fudged the rest of the details of that myth.

We never received the independence we were promised.

Whatever happened in 1947 was a transfer of power from the British to their favorite minion Nehru.

That is the only explanation for why India did not adopt a US style democracy or why the Indian legal system is a mirror image of the legal system created by the British to subjugate in pre-1947 India with some cosmetic amendments made over the years.

Did you read your History books between 6th and 10th standard at all ? Romans traded with India through Persian Gulf and Arabian Sea from the sea ports of Egypt such as Alaxandria in ancient times.

In middle ages due to constant wars between Muslims and Christians that is Turks and Bazyentine Empire the route from middle east was distrucpted and also trade with India was monopolized by Arabs.

Vasco De Gama discovered a new route circumfering Africa through cape of good hope.

History is written right just that you did not read it properly

It is gradually being rewritten. Already started also. Read one book titled "What India Should learn" by Prof Lakshmikantham of Univ of Florida, USA. Another book by a Britisher Gribble, titled "History of Deccan". You will learn many things that have been hidden, distorted by Britishers & their Indian Chamchas (herein called above) Nehru & Gandhi who have laid the foundation stone to ruin what left of India.

The Book "What India Should Learn" by Prof Lakshmikantham is Bhavans Publication and not available anywhere in Gurgaon, Hyderabad & Madras. This is after my personal search for the book, after reading half of it, borrowed from a friend.
