India have enough potential to beat any europian
country if our leaders are little honest and businessmen have some limit of profitability and spend some money on society development without asking for any concession on return.

even If penny doesnt matter to the one who is giving away even a million dollars wont matter to the one receiving it, money is just a unit of measurement of the value, and if penny doesnt have a value to the giver then it wont have value to the receiver

Maharashtra's GDP
by Logical Error on Feb 23, 2012 09:15 PM  | Hide replies

Had the migration from other states to Maharashtra been restricted, the state would have been on par with western European developed countries in terms of per capita GDP. (Some jealous souls may challenge this in the replies to this post.)

Yes and it also could have reduced if not stopped several suicidal deaths in Vidharbha region where due to migration drought and infertile land results.

If there had been no migration, there would have been no Mumbai without which Maharashtra is worse than Bihar. Because of Mumbai, other parts of MH benefited immensely. Learn facts first, kid.

This is typical Ghatti attitude. ...Today Bangalore has overtaken Bombay in importance, tomorrow it'd be Hyd, and day after it'd be Kochi....just wait.
This arrogance is channelised by your Thackereys to terrorize South Indians, Gujratis and UPites. But for these communities and the blessings of Congress powered state and Central govts, MH would be the same as UP or Rajasthan!
Stopping immigration would be equivalent to stopping Air India flights from being divered via Sahar,....Sahar would then lose it's number one traffic status .....and stopping migrants would stop MH too the same way.....so wake up!

Your are grossly underestimating ruling party's (cong NCP) capability to drag the state down to the lowest in the list.

The ruloing party in Maharastra is in power for majority of the time. So your proposition has no factual base. It is just for the shake of opposing.

What culture- of violence against every migrant! Bangalore is today's India, Bombay is yesterday's. Nobody knows about MH outside India! If you want to know about culture go to Kolkata, where migrants are not harassed and killed! MH should thank years of Congress rule which put it in favorable relationship with centre for GoI investments and turning a blind eye towards the illegal activities of Bombay club industrialists! No wonder farmers in Vidarbha are suffering!

Lot of Typing errors. Author needs to do a better job in proof reading.
1.For Tamilnadu & From Assam (18)onwards, Comma is used in GDP instead of dot.
2.In Some places, there is no bn at all. For example refer to GDP of Gujarath, Karnataka & Tripura.
