railway stations in Mumbai
by palanisamy on Oct 15, 2011 12:45 PM

The interesting point is most of these railway stations are built by the imperialist British. Are we maintaining these railway stations properly? No Sirs. Just go to the Chatrapathi Shivaji Terminus and Churchgate stations in Mumbai. The structures of the stations are very, very impressive. Inside the stations, dirt and filth are everywhere. Anyone of the food stalls you visit, the situations is so bad, one feel nauseas. There is no proper checkings. Wastes spilled over all over the places, etc.

Please see the advancement in space and other areas. Are the British as compatible in these areas today? DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE OURSELVES.

India's Best Railway Stations

No Matter How aesthetically these stations were designed, But today if we see the tracks, they are filled with shit & poop stinks throughout, tea cups, Pan Masala Pouches and every corner of the station u would find it red due to spitting. Indian Railways never gonna be world class until the people who use it change. and i urge people not to compare India with China, as they are light years ahead in terms of Hiegine and cleanliness.

Most of these stations are build during British Era, built with broad vision as on today they can catter the ever increasing population etc..

We would be lucky to see some new Stations with extra ordinary infrastructure somewhere near to Delhi Metro Rail project..
