hike of 5 rupees is not that much. We cannot always live in a subsidised corrupt environment. we should pay for what we get.

Yes Rs.5 is not steep, but this keeps happening every 2-3 months, then obviously you will feel cumulative effect.

The "GURU" why don't you think yourself, take a good study of costing. How do you think HPCL/BPCL is doing over 30% net profits? Do you think these guys do daily trading in petrol ? They sign agreements for couple of years in one go. The real cost of petrol is Rs.20/liter even with increased prices. Rest is going as taxes and profits.

I live in Switzerland and the cost petrol/litre is far cheaper than in India. It is stable for almost 4 years for now. Don't understand Indian Policy on fuel hike every one month. Poeple should change now and protest...

You have an appropriate name 'Daaku'. Hence it is immaterial for you if the price goes up by Rs. 5 or 15. Anyway, u will would be paying from stolen money.

Price Hike in Petrol & now in Diesel & LP
by Shailesh Marwaha on May 23, 2011 06:32 PM  | Hide replies

What the Hell is this? The Inflation is piling up and still the Govt wants to increase the prices of Diesel & LPG, which have a cascading effect on the prices of other commodities and inflation as well. Moreover, the delay between the announcement of price hike and the actual hike also increases blackmarketing and other crimes. Already corruption is at its peak and the govt. wants to increase it more by these acts. I wish All the Indians to vote and remove this Govt. from power in next elections. Aamin!!!
