Railways portfolio will be with TMC only, even after Mamata becomes CM of WB.
Pls. do not twist the facts. Mamta deserves kudos for what she has done in such a short time. The vision-2020, when fully implemented will catapult Ind. railways into Big League. C'mon guys! appreciate what she has done and what she is going to do i.e ousting the commies.

Well said Mr. Mukherjee. It seems that they have forgotten the reign of the Congress pre 1977. Mamta is a faction of the same. Time will prove whether she will live upto the expectations of the Aam Aadmi. The railway is only a stepping stone for her, she is not bothered at all if she does manage to win the polls in WB. The Railways could go to the dogs then. This is her conception.

Sumit! Pls.do'nt mind, but I guess u must be a relative of a com. Minister. 60000 factories closed. Educational standard going down. Violence in educational Institutions, neglect of the adivasis(resulting in the maoist problem), problem in the hills and amassing of wealth by the party cadres ............

I don't mind the rantings of a misguided soul. I am not related to communists in any form whatsoever. In fact, i have chosen to lead my professional life outside of Bengal. The problem in Bengal is that it has no politician who has any intention of improving the conditions for commercial & industrial investment. Hence, i am no supporter of Commies or TMC. I believe that both are two sides of the same coin.

Md. Mustakim please don't mind, you have written 60000 factories are closed, do you have any idea what 60000 means? Do you know educational standards of west bengal are amongst the best in India? who are doing violence in educational institutions? problem related to maoism is not any state specific issue, who are creating problems in hill and who are encouraging? name one/two party cadres who are involved in scams.

indian railways need hi-tech tracks and modern locomotive, to meet needs of working class, develop a separate network for faster trains like rajdhani, shatabdi so that these fast routes are not messed up, and slowly we need to replace old tracks with high speed tracks, massive privatisation is need of the hour in 10 years railways can be develop to class level.

Very true suggestion. But to implement it government need to take strong actions, which may not be in favour of aam aadmi. definitely railway should have increased it's fare by 30-40%, it might have pinched now, but generates enough money to modernise the system, or buy new equipments. Mamta is again following the same old markisit's theory. Which is a big failure where ever implemented. People in India need some visionary who have an image of modern India, who can take tough decisions for the benifit of people. Among all our politician, only rajiv Gandhi had some vision, and we are reeping it reward in field of IT. Hope India produce a new one.
