This is sheer non sense
by guruji on Mar 04, 2011 11:16 AM  | Hide replies

It is not important how many days holidays a country has but, if they are working really hard. Lot of people including me have the time to type in here meaning, we are not that hard working. I am told that in the US people are pretty hard working. They do not work on Saturdays or Sundays but definitely do not waste time during the balance 5 days. Go to a Govt office in India and you will know how people work!!!

In India the people who are private employees have to work hard whether they wish or dont, whereas in Govt offices the productivity is very low.
Also, there are fields like construction, manufacturing, agriculture whose hard work cannot be compared with pseudo-hardwork of IT and ITES !!!

hard working people

Number of holidays taken is hardly a criteria to hard working. Productivity multiplied by number of hours put is/should be criteria. Productivity of Indian labour/worker is very poor. It is only in few profession such as software, medicine and some white collar work our productivity is comparable or better than most of the country.

You get money that is why you work hard. Nobody works for others, its only for themselves that is to get money, fame and promotion.

People from place to place

Our labourers, farmers, workers in small private companies are hard working. We are not !

If we are hard working then we will not waste time posting bulshit during working hours by using office computer,we are not paid for this !

I have visited korean company and saw with my eyes that during working hours their boss will keep on moving here and there and keep an eye on employees. They fear to deviate from work.

And so far Japanese are concerned, they are by nature workaholic, they are the most hard working people in the world !

Contrary to our believe,Chinese employees enjoy a better working environment. They have 8 to 5 job with one hour break and 2 days weekend.
And most foreign companies have cameras in the offices to monitor the activities of employees.

Most Indian govt employees are among the worst in the world !

In general,Thai people are one of the laziest race in the world..

And yes,Americans are hard working because America is made by people who could not succeed in their own country, may be it was not their fault, the system was not suitable for their success,America provided them the opportunity to achieve their goal and show to the world their achievements !
