A CASE
by madanmohan siddhanthi on Apr 20, 2011 11:28 AM

At state level today no one is concerned about corruption in elections - as they feel every one is corrupt in politics in the country .so performance and the development done at the lowest level is more important than corruption.take for example DMK even a second class student know they are corrupt - who gives them vote - the back ward classes not those financially but(Reservation category) others for whom the dole is given all the time and every time increasing .Corruption really is seen as the evil to be tackled by centre with stringent laws , and unbised investigation and finally a very severe punishment - this can not happen as the people in power are most corrupt ,just like the money stashed in forign banks is with these politician and the MPs are being maintained by the industrialists . The only way is people acting and throwing this scum in gutters - if this odes not happen soon the people will take law in to their hands - may be that is the only alternative ,which I may not be alive to see . so at local level it is more of development than corruption which is important .The most corrupt DMK still win because of the doles they keep on gviing to reserved category which forms a major portion of population ,same is going to be in Cudapa it does not matter how much jagan and his father have looted .These are many who beniifted - so Corruption will nto be an issue in state level .

corruption

corruption cannot be rooted out immediatedly,it takes time.infact,in a country like india where corruption existed for over 1000 years, it will take longer.moreover, our political system is faulty, where freebies buy votes, this has to be banned. even in developed countries corruption exists in higher places.usa is possibly the most corrupt amonst the developed countries where senators are on the pay roll of big multi-nationals,& propogate for them in the us parliament.

English language in Indian society
by raman govindan on Apr 20, 2011 08:32 AM  | Hide replies

about the English language: that is the unifying factor of multi linguistic country like India. The native lanuages are major ones and has adherents in crore and crores. in the absence of English it will be balkanisation of the country. example bangladesh when west pakistan imposed Urdu.

in the moghul empire and during the other islamic rules the persian and arabic knowing persons assumed importance.

it continued with English under British rule. but the language, economy, business, governance, education, knowledge, technology, people's lives, international relationship had all changed totally different and undergone paradigm shift in the last 70 odd years.

one has to look at the way the Chineese dressed themselves before liberalisation and after. their attitude to business, cultural outlook and politics and even to marxist philosophy are underging transformation but with a chineese hue. the english language may come later to them slowly but is a sure possibilty.

but the English has come to be adopted by most of our countrymen volunteerly even though english had left the subcontinent. if one were to consider the language as only a tool, there will be no heartburns.

Only the very stupid think like you, All chinese know if they adopt a barbaric languge like English they will be more backwards, slavish, idiots, and would not be first.

It is hard to name a major country who are achievers that speak anything but their native language. It is the reason why Indians remain the most illiterate about their own culture.

language is just a tool. like computer and other technologies. nothing more. the individual and the society should be prosperous and healthy.

1.better do not use words like stupid, barbaric etc.
2.most of the ther countries are single language speaking and mostly mono ethnic mono religious countries. India is not so. in the absence of English we may not be communicating with each other. special circumstances demand out of box thinking and not the conventional one.

one has to think out of box. not necessarily the way we did all these years. the common peeople understood it and had adopted to English withot any favour or fervour. it is good for the country. Nehru and Indira gave lesser importance to education but the state level leaders like Kamaraj and others gave importance to it and the action had put the non hindi speaking states at the forefront of most literate states in India. it is to be appreciated.

Just Shallow Words NOT enough,We NEED Radical Electoral &Voting System Changes NOW!First and Foremost Election commission MUST make sure that electronic voting machines are NOT rigged like last lok sabha elections and must confirm validity of results by doing simultanous ballot paper voting to prevent possibility of rigging of EVM machines! Only crooks and looters have made our democracy a TOTAL FARCE and looters and dacoits rule 90 crore poor majority hindus making them beggars and third class citizens. The real culprits for Making this Total Farce of a Democracy are those who drafted the constitution and drafted the election laws and even now it is not late! If the consitution makers had put the condition that only those with minimum educational qualification of an intermediate degree are allowed to vote and that voting is made compulsory for all adults and punishable with jail and huge fine for those not voting without adequate reason, india would have been a super power rivalling USA and Europe by now and the crooked nheru dynasty and looters would not have looted trillions of dollars and made 85 crore hindus beggars and third class citizens in the country and there would not have been 500 million hindus without one full meal as is the case now.It is time all political parties and all intellectuals and patriots come together and make electoral reforms and save the country even now from total disaster soon

backlog cases
by swami pudipeddi on Apr 19, 2011 05:17 PM  | Hide replies

If the courts also function like any industry in shifts then only I think the backlog can be cleared. The Govt. should gear up to create the necessary infrastructure and the litigants whose cases are pending can be given an option to inform their willingness to get their case heard in any shift. If there is will both on the part of the Judiciary as well as on the part of the Govt. then it is not difficult to clear the backlog in a systematic manner.

Just Brave words and Slogans are NO Use to eliminate or reduce corruption and Looting of public funds. Now see how the vatican agent jagan reddy and his father YSReddy has declared assets of more than 1000 crores amased during past 5 years, while filing application for election. There are hundreds or thousands of such looters all over India too.Have Anna Hazraeji and his activists& brigade gone into Hiding or in deep sleep after all the noise made in media recently or are they just agents of vatican queen sonia maino and raul aino and christia mafia???CROOKED RULERS SHOUT THAT THEY CANNOT REVEAL NAMES OF THOSE WHO HAVE BILLIONS AND TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN SWISS AND GERMAN BANKS! The reason why names of black money holders looting trillions of dollars cannot b revealed because the people holding maximum billions or trillions are sonia maino, raul maino, mm singh, chidtambaram, sibal and other crooked congress polticiains, dmk karuna and family and all others supporting sonia maino and raul maino, surely! How Jagan or his father got this much crores??? where are all the anti-corruption activists INCLUDING ANNA HAZARE AND ANTI-CORRUPTION BRIGADE AND ACTIVISTS NOW???

U are perfect. Corruption is 1000 kinds and almost 90% of us indulge in. However the fact is the at least 85% of those who indulge in corruption (not including business people, employees of all kinds attender to ward boy to clerks to petty officers to big time guys)have no alternate but pay bribes and get going their mundane life. Go to a bank - they need address prof - so go to govt office and pay bribe. Need address change - go to govt office and pay bribe. some mistakes awere there in spelling of your name or some wrong entries in ration card or photo ID card etc got govt office and pay bribe. Adhar card - you have to go some office and pay bribe. Why all this ? why bank should know you? If I walk in account opening or FD account opening etc should be done? See during elections 1oos of crores are spent? Does this bank knowing its customer has stopped it any where in India? Every where these kinds of laws and rules are making mundane life miserable for people and from this basic level of Identity corruption begins and ends no where. So there must be a full throat fight against corruption if not for the country at least for happy mundane life of all of us

It is very shame that, u type of selfish persons are exist today. When the country is going for a systemic cahnge, you are dividing the society on basis of region.
Had anna fought on thsi line , who could have ened up , with nothing , because it is a regional issue. Since he is a national hero, he is asking for change in national system. Mostly , after that in the most of the cases will be solved automatically.
