Mr.Mallesham is to be congratulated and be should be awarded a doctorate along with monitary purse to his contribution to the suffering weaving community in their labourious work.He not only alleviated the suffering of his mom but also very many women and men involved in weaving.

Yes Congress is being run by an Italian lady, and she is far more intelligent than 120 Crore Indians
i presume that although he had patended this machine... he had not done so to mint money. selling his patent to some pvt. firm.
the actual cost of procuring the items required to make such a machine plus the labour costs to assemble them is naturally going to blow up the price. Govt. cannot be blamed as it cannot provide loans for each and every invention. There are many such useful inventions at grassroots level.
So the immediate alternative is for big corporates to pump in some money or cut a fair deal so that as a part of therir social initiatives big corporates can buy them these machines and take certain percentage of their earnings as a repayment plan. NGOs should exercise more leverage in bringing corporates and weavers to cut a fair deal.
Ofcourse public can always chip-in with their donations. But thats not a dependable means always
"If you have confidence, you can conquer the world. If you have an idea, never let go of it. Keep thinking about it and do everything possible to make it a success," Mallesham. I respect what you say Mr Mallesham. As some people on this forum have commented on where are IITs, IIMs, and others Let me just tell them that these institutions produce white collar slaves, having no guts and determination to do anything original. It is the people like Mr Mallesham who make this country proud.
Mallesham is an inspiration and a ray of hope for this country.
Bloody govt, they run away from people when it is much needed...bloody politics.....govt has failed when people deliverd...where is the confidence for people to build there lives. Govt sucks the blood of poor people. If he takes the same to other parts of the country...like Karnataka or Gujart they would get help. Is the Govt of AP sleeping..... There have been many farmer and wever sucides in AP and this idots call haritaandhra...or they have to meet soniya gandhi and get her aproval.... Weak up people. Govt of AP sucks........kick out congress and get a new party. Interestingly look at the president studying the equipment very closly...haaa
D. Goel Pkl. afternoon 3.20pm, Thursday, Oct 21, 2010. I do not fully grasp the invention that Sri Mallesham has made his Mother Lakshmi gain time in weaving Saris and make her life more productive and increase the Value of Weavers in general with the resort to Optimalising effort to enfold and wrap saris. The costs could be reduced by improving the device with the review of Textile Engineers. Government Agencies shouldcome forward to help him hone his first design, now.D. Goel
I feel Govt. should provide some funds for innovation made by the people like how Mr.Chintakindi Mallesham has done. Govt. should encourage such acts which is a God’s gift plus requires hard work, determination & perseverance which everybody doesn’t have.
