we should like cubans utilise all vacant plots for cultivation. govt is leasing out vacant plots in cuban cities on yearly basis. the rent is low and people are using it to feed and support themselves the amount of food they produce is huge!i heard something like 20 tons/month from these plots. also ppl have to taught how to preserve the foods for long-term. also i can tell the diet of many normal indians is also quite bad. needs improving
In India common people are most problematic. All sort of problems like corruption, illeteracy, non accountability, laziness, selfishmess, cowardness, inability to choose a good leader, prone to fight among themsheves instead with the enemy etc are because of them only. So they must suffer.

people are bliend they know all this but they have a mentality of KEEP IT UP.
is because of the population. In 50 years food/water will only get scarce.
In most cities water is already a problem. In my city water situation is so bad that everyone is using a tube well and the ground water level has gone down by 250ft in the last 8 years.
Even all the 5 star hotels in Delhi cant get enough water. It is hard to miss the huge lines of tanker trucks at Taj/Maurya/Oberoi during summers.
5 years back same media reported that there are 700 million 60% hungry people in India and now saying 300 million Indians go hungry everyday where 400 million gone. Actually in last 5 years because of 9% GDP growth and development it reduced to 300 million 25% only. And hopefully in next 5 years it will become 0 million.

You should not be sorry, instead you must feed one person out of those 300 million. Seek some doctor help if you are ashamed of being INDIAN
The levels of poverty and hunger is a matter of international shame. Forget Indian government - it exists only for the Top 100 families and 600 MPs of India. What about Religious Institutions in India. Instead of warring against other religions - why not make use of the temples, churches and mosques to feed the poor. This way, the temples, churches and mosques can be put to better use, besides offering prayers. And the Top 1000 tax payers should contribute generously. All Indians should endeavour to eliminate hunger in India by 2015.

It is really shameful to say that india will be a super power, while unable to satisfy the hunger of milions of people. India; talk less and work more.
