the top 4 positions r held by southern cities(though i myself m not so sure with trvdm in 4th place), it goes without saying south indians r far more prosperous than the north indians.... all the development in ncr is the revenue it gets from mumbai, pune, hyd, blore and chennai...shame shame...and chandigarh is filled with ppl who hv lots of money, definitely not earned by hard wrk(most of them).... and with visakhapatnam, coimbatore, kochi, vijayawada, mysore and mangalore develping at a rapid pace, most of the north indian cities will be left faaaaaaaaar behind.

Yes, we Indians are more bothered about race, region and religion living like frogs in well rather than thinking about innovation.
Compared to Metros and other tier cities, Ahmedabad has the best infrastructure in the form of 24 hour water/power, public transportation, road network, very little pollution, 300 sunny days and a safe and entertaining night life. Pune, Delhi, Bangalore..... I am tired of your power cuts.

My prayer to the Almighty God.. Please save Ahmedabad from the useless IT industry. No innovation, coolie work, unnecessary inflation, bubble of real estate will ruin the city.
And Bengalooru coolies top the list having imbibed slavery attitude at fastest pace. We Indians just slog and do slavery work for US companies and their innovative products. And we call it as IT savvinnes. Is there any world famous product from Indian companies ? Like Apple, iPod, Sony, Toshiba, Google, MS, Dell, HP etc ?? And the sad irony is that most of the employees in these companies are from India.

the Situation is ripe now when you have money and infrastructure to produce software products have you forgotten that finacle, Gupta sQl and Many e-learning products many small erps are created in india
So update your database and then speak
It was a far cry in india to see a semiconductor forget about PC when these companies you mentioned all ready had world class products
You need to have patience and you will see the difference

Mr. Madan .. You seem to talk like a a frog in well. Finacle is a product developed using some Microsoft tools or C or VC or any other language.. And hopefully u know where is MS and who owns it. All e-learning products are developed using some MS or any other tool developed outside India. It is because of immature people like you Indians want to work as slaves using products developed outside.
