Rather than fighting for which state is et to work for...we should focus more on the overalll picture..it looks lke the picture aint that greeny...infrastructure needs are too high...i have worked in 3 cities..namely Delhi(gurgao),Banglore,Pune.Traffic gave me a headache ..also all the big malls that we are talking about aint of any use when it comes to buying daily necessities....

Amrit Patil, you should know that Computers existed in India before Rajuv entered politics.Do not treat all Indians as cowards. Do not bring politicians in to the lives of innovators and financing agencies and entrepreneurs.

sanjiv....i stay in bbs....and as far as i know...slums do exist in bbsr...saliasahi being a prime example ....there r others ,eg the slums behind s-complex...
clean>>pbly yes but with he kind of exponential increase in traffic and consequently,,pollution,,i m not sure about clean air or clean environment anymore
roads>>i totally agree with u
the main advantage of bbsr as an emerging {and god willling amongst the best}it destination in india is its proximity to both the eastern hub{kolkata} and the southern states{eg andhra}
and then,there is the connecivity advantage...to all major cities so,all i can say is bbsr has the potential,but there r roadblocks as well
infact,we should look at other states in orissa as well,with equally good opportunities,,sambalpur ,for instance,or berhampur... progress and development shouldn't be concentrated in 1 city alone
IT graduation done in Hyderabad is considered inferior due to counterfeit colleges run by Builders or prominent leaders. You have given the data for export but check the Import. IT import "Hyderbad" is virtualy feeding Singapore, US and European countries. despite IT income the Roads and Public transport network in Pitiable stage, Government is not able to open state own schools, State own Hospital from many decades!!!! IT income from Hyderbad is only Hype!! or the income taken over by import.
Nasscom also conducted India's first ever city wise survey on the ITES sector covering 310 companies. The survey revealed that:
* The average number of employees in the ITES sector is 190 but the range is huge and varies from as low as 4 people to as many as 16,000 people * The encouraging trend in this area is the presence of MNC Captive units that account for 45% of the industry and are a vital determinant of the long term competitiveness of India in this sector. * Amongst the cities representing the ITES sector, the National Capital Region (NCR) has emerged as the largest with 53 companies based in this region. Mumbai comes second with 45 companies and Bangalore and Chennai are at fourth place with 35 companies each.
