i recommend of my own through this platform of ‘rediff’! I hope,it wil be put forward to competent authority for national interest!
PRESENT CURRENCY SYMBOL IS OVERLAPPING LINES AT TOP WHICH SHUD NOT HAPPEN IN CURRENCY SYMBOL!
my thought was, clubbing uday & shibbins symbol with extra addition & deletion!
i think clubbing shibbin & kumar wil be more suitable for Bharatbasi and it wil be the best symbol in two stroke & wil very easy to write!
Shibbin's was o.k. in first stroke but cutting the lines by two in angular is difficult for a common man & gives the bad look for a currency symbol!
but, if we take udays’ idea, and shibbins simplicity,our rupee symbol wil be more attractive and wil get its true practical meaning of currency and our national values!
the first line i had taken of shibbin as we write 'ra' of devanagari,(or half of capital ‘R’), deleting kumar's top overlapped line, then i have followed kumar with middle cut but by two, giving it again three tricolor lines what was earlier for kumar with top two lines but top line of kumar was hard to to write exactly in its top position and it was overlapping which shud not be acceptable for a currency symbol!
hence, why not we go for it from now!
i think,it wil be the best suitable symbol for us!

see it as below: ' r ' to be considered as line
the meaning of the above first symbol can also be : full 'ra' is partial symbol of 'om' , which is adopting Bharat on symbolic middle cut tricolor lines! so, in one symbol, historical, cultural and spiritual(as Bharat is a spiritual state), r all available!

2ND DESIGN IS WITH SINGLE LINE! two lines were tried by everyone to include tricolor lines!

indian rupee only symbolised and no new in this symbol. this symbol combination of Euro and Pound. adjusting only two line in euro and pound and use R insted of 's' by chance english 'R' (Rupee) look like Marathi or hindi 'r' .
its really wonderful for us to get a symbol like this for our currency. It is an immense pleasure to see that we have placed our country once again in the elite class of countries which have got their own currency symbol.

ok .. do u know about this guy.. he is gem in typography.. if u have gutts challange him.. he is pg in Visual communication.. that pound sign u finding u just check all currency symbols everyone having lines in their currency symbol. so he used these lines well for international acceptance. as his line means for our national flg. jst see properly
