commonwealth games ahead, Delhi should have planned by this time to ease this traffic problems by this time. corrupt people , cut across party lines and focus on solving the real problem atleast now

delhi is known for show off lifestyle.. so no one can do anything by having 4 lanes roads also there always chaos in rush hours.. people r rigid there they not follow public transport as much mumbaites follows

lol.. seems u r one of them .. there people behaves show off is like this if they have 10 rs they show they have 100 rs.. its not about style my dear friend.. style is altogether different.. people there have lots of attitude.. not have politness.. thats why lots of 4 wheelers drive on roads.. just visit to mumbai u will come to know.. what is this.. dont expect that u can enjoy in local like metro.. still there updation going on in local trains.. and people feeling it.. no one feels that he/she travels like cattle class. they enjoys.. just come and see spirit in rush hours..

in delhi blue line, and all line buses crush people due to crowd.. lol they run from footpath....if u take out metro from delhi they will be paralised...

metros are less in quantity.... insufficient to carry whole delhi....autos dont have meters...mumbai will have metro and mono both where its doubt that delhi metro will be in profit...

Delhi and mumbai people dont know manners. They compete for all the negatives of living. Delhi is also the rape capital of india.
Delhites are pampered a lot with neat road,24 hour electricty and all world class metro services are offered in the name of national capital. The towns bordering Delhi are in shambles no electricity.
The city was designed in a oval/circular fashion unfit to commute due to lack of transport previously and maruti dumped cheaper cars ( of course third class people own martui in delhi). Most of the people live on property related income. All are subsidised. It is a criminal wastage of tax money collected from all over India and wasted in Delhi few enjoy the benefit. A foreigner who visits India other than Delhi he will other places also that is what is reported.
Ills of Delhi
Stop Subsidising Delhites Cheap petrol,gas etc
Move all Central Govt Departments to various cities in India
Unless this happens there is no way to get out Delhi traffic woes.
Why not Common Wealth Games in other city?
In the name of Developing Delhi some benefit and most live in JJ Clusters. one sqft of land will be costing more than lakh.

Afro ashiad games were held in Hydrabad . Commonwealth youth games were in pune , why all games should come to other cities why not delhi.

Now Doctor says walk but not to offfice,shop even to throw waste. But walk inside park wasting time. As long as we follow this type of nonsense behaviour we will congest roads and get diabetic go to doctor and pay him forever.

northern cities are worst.. where ever u go find corruption...delhi to bihar....all come to study in south in mumbai,pune hyd banglore,, n to live here... mumbai earns more than delhi and donates to delhi.. all bhikaris of north.... cant pay taxes...

Mr rkms I think you have not visited Bangalore.What you have visualised about BANGALORE IS ALL WRONG AND MISLEADING.First of all there is no Kannada boards in buses and offices.Bangalore is full of non Kannadigas.40% Telugu,30 % Tamilians 5% others and 25 % Kannadigas.First visit Bangalore and then write something meaningfull.

Bangalorians should user more public tranport and there should be BMTC bus facilities/stands inside every STPI/SEZ parks..
Even I agree that its difficult to read Kannada boards in Bangalore.. Need to put both in Kannada and English.. But everyone will help if you ask where the bus goes...!! Of course those who says kannadigas are not proud to talk in kannada!! They want everything in English (especially those who born in bangalore).. If there is something existence of Kannada in Bangalore that is because of other parts of karnataka people in Bangalore..
I don't agree the last statement.. police's eat money from every one .. for them all are one when accepting bribe!!

Come on, let's not get into this kind of local-bashing. There will be ill-behaved people (irrespective of local/non-local) everywhere and it is ridiculous to blame locals for this. I do however, agree that sporting only Kannada numerals in bus numbers and vehicle registration numbers is bit inconvenient for visitors and non-locals. Repeating the numbers in Indian/Arabic numerals (1,2,3...) will be very helpful. We should not forget that the registration numbers are valid all over the country and not restricted to any state in particular. Even RTO's in Bangalore issue RC booklets in English using Indian/Arabic numerals for numbers and there must be a good reason for it. I do agree that it is good to learn the local language in the long run but that is a different topic.

mr. rkms, the biggest mistake that we locals have done is we are not forcing anybody to learn kannada, thats y bangalore has only 25-30%of kannadigas, and yet you outsiders abuse us for no reason,ALTHOUGH WE ARE SO HOSPITABLE go to states like TN. kerala. they dont even talk to tourists in hindi or english.

cool down sir... u r one of the victim of some rare and unfortunate harassment! i am kannadiga and i feel wht u say is very rare incidents, for tht u cant blame all kannadigas... no state in india is as welcoming as karnataka. even people from north or south happy to settle here. And u knw so many of my non-kannadigas frn's/colleagues wil accept this fact. Try to be roman in rome! so learn local language whrevr u r ...then u wil not have any problm anywhr in the world! And regarding numerals...there is no rule to have it in english! grow up its people's proud abt langauge tht thy use it evrywhr in life... and if u go to germany/france u cant survive! leave tht even if u go to chennai u cant !...even govt bus route numbers and destinations wil be in local lang in chennai!! try to change... gud luck :)

Numerals in tamil follow the english pattern only. the destinations are in tamil in buses. Even in mumbai the no. and destination is written in english only in the rear so one can identify a bus route only after it leaves the stop!

This is the problem we all kannadigaas facing. We are allowing outside ppls to settle here. You are proud to learn english (other country language) but not ready to learn kannada. If thats the matter you please try to find bread and butter where you can find the english friendly peoples.
Every one says that karnataka is the only state in India where all state peoples can servive.
If you have guts, try to stay atleast a week in TN(provided if you are not from same state) then you will understand.
Still i am speaking soft bcoz i dont want readers to feel bad abt karnataka only bcoz of me.
One thing remember if you cant help somebody then atleast dont try to spoil them...
At last i can suggest you, if you have any manners then without second word you should leave karnataka. :)

I agree Ravi. When I stayed in bangalore i wanted to learn kannada..the pblm is even the local kannadigas are not ready to patiently listen to my broken kannada..they ask what language i'm comfortable with and they talk in the same.

Well, Ravi has a point. If a person wants to settle in Kannada speaking region, why he has problem in learning the language? Can't they (locals) take this as hatred towards their language? I am not a kannadiga but if in any case I would be settling in Bangalore, I would surely learn Kannada.

All Metros have people from all over the country thats why they have grown to be economically successful. Local problem are bound to be there and exist in all the places that affect outsiders but most learn to live with it.

thre r more than 33 different language spoken in India , i m not agaist any of them but pls how come a person who is vsistind banagalore or chennai for 10 days can learn the local language , it takes at least a yr or two to get familiar with the locals language. common there should be some common equation like hindi or english. further we have given hindi status of our national language, pls add some meaning to it , guys
We can keep chanting worst city, worst city for 100 years nothnig would change. But if we take responsibility, learn world class traffic behaviour that would create a driving force for other to follow. they say ethics is not taught its caught. Few people's good behaviour spread like wild fire. Thats kind of transformation is needed in indian city. The training someone mentioned by private company, thats great idea. You make people think, that would chagne behaviour and right action would follow. There is no short cut. Otherwise we can live in dirt and chaose whole life.
