The SARKARI culture in Delhi is simply wretched and dirty. No wonder all institutions here are muck and filthy...let alone traffic ,which cant improve.
Delhi is worst AND NO ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT because of Politicos and Baboos. The reason is these segment needs worst institutions to maintain their looting spree.

"M", Why to blame politicos? It's the aam aadmi on road who create chaos. We "Indians" do not have civic sense. and that is the main problem, be it traffic or corruption. and this is for every one: Tell me for how long time you can stick to your lane or do you not drive mostly in overtaking lane? Do you give way when some one give signal to turn or How many time you indicate when turning left or right? Stop blaming, start evaluating.

All right tell me one thing out of these which does not apply to bombay, bangalore or any other big city in india. Also as far as Drainage, Roads, Filth are concerned Delhi is BEST in all major cities in india.

Many believe the capital will have better education,Life style to live on. As seeing these news definitely people coming into the city will be reduced. They want their sister,wife and mother should be safe. So best advice., stay away from Capital.

Sakthi, Let me explain you on this, Mumbai - Aamchi mumbai, no metter from which part of country or world person is, he is mumbaikar and mubai is his own
Chennai : though there is still problem of north and south, normally a cultured city and people are easy going.
Kolkata : do not have experience but my friends from kolkata says it is again a calm city and people live in harmony
Now coming to delhi, my own native. Delhi : Dilli kisi ke baap ki nahin hai, that is the main attitude. Every one is there to loot delhi and go back. Delhi is a mixture of Jaat, Gujjar, Panjabi, "Teacher" and Babus. And none of these class care about Delhi. So no culture, no sense. Now we have new breed of young newly rich cowboys who think money can do any thing and money can save them if they do any thing (apsrt from connection to PM/CM. That is the reason why Delhi has problem.

u can guess abt delhi from DELHI railway station itself......
There is no short cut bunch of lezy traffic police is not gonna make traffic great. There should be mandatory training every year for city dwellers by private multinational. world class training on how to behave on road. This is major reason of traffic jam. also we have space/population problem but you cant do anything thats reality. you have to think what can be done. City dwellers can afford to pay for private training. On topic like to stay in lane, dont horn, keep engine clean, dont rush etc. Problem is indian know intellecually everything. but behaviour and action is lacking. Training would force peopel to think.

Traffic in Bangalore is worst than Delhi...The long delayed Upcoming Metro Rail project and super slow Outer Ring Road flyover works have aggrevated the commuter woes 10 times more .. I hope people experienced to B'lore traffic can vouch for that.

well, i agree..but, the present govt is far better in dealing with dev works..the congress is responsible for these pathetic conditions..for anything and everything they need permission from high command in delhi...which gives room for delay..yeddiyurappa doesnt need his high command's permission to carry out dev activities in bangalore..
