What a news.,only highlights the rampant corruption on the eve of republic day. Tomorrow MMS and Pratiba will vow to finish corruption in the country and pratiba will tell us that she has returned all the money to some bank in which her alleged involvement was there.
This is a bogus study and most definitely does not represent the execs in Corporate India.I can vouchsafe for most of the Indian executives who deliver much more than their counterparts in the West and the Orient or Australia.I have been in sr mgt for over 18 years in a large conglomerate with Global presence and Sovereign stakes.I have reasons to believe and do possess adequate supportive evidence to substantiate that we are not corrupt and thanks to the CVC and a robust Internal Audit system, most of the delinquents, and the number unlike the politicians, bureaucrats and technocrats,is miniscule and the guilty gets the sack. This MDRA has made an irrelevant and inconsequential study without any credence. Please ascertain who has funded their efforts. I know that most of us still live a very modest life and our integrity is un- impeachable.Let an analysis be made of such organisations who indulge in such academics.
This is a very poor and half-cooked report. Do not know why rediff goes for such cheap stuff. This report has no basis. 700 people. That's hardly a sample. And corruption reports should be based on fact not what people think. A school project survey is better than this BS.

can you enlighten us about sample size? Just give a number, which is possible to quiz not saying a million or billion will do.

The report is true. I was a senior executive in a reputed multinational firm & I have looked the things from very close. The senior executives are virtually looting the country in various ways. I had to resign at the age of 52 as I could not bear with the rampant corruption. The actual scene is much worse.
60 yrs being a republic net result gross corruption at all levels politicians, ministers ,IAS ,IPS ,SWEEPERS ,PEONS, CLERKS.GRADED OFFICERS .DEMOCRACY SOCIALIAM EQUALITY ALL DELIVERED AS AN OLD BOTTLE OF WINE.
I work in an MNC in India. And my Manager does not allow me to do good work, because I dont say "good morning" to him everyday. Such is the sstate of affairs in india inc.
