In a few decades, there will not be a single super power. Instead, there will be multiple de-centralized areas of power. Asia will have the most clout since it contains China, India and Japan. North and South America will come next, with US, Canada and Brazil. EU will be next. All these predictions of the so-called next super power are h0gwash. The only true Super Power this world has seen is the US, but eventually, the world will reach a state of entropy.
You can buy a lot of tech and scientists. Imagine a russian scientist (or for that matter an american scientist) working in china for 2 times the equivalent US salary and a pretty chinese girl thrown in for marriage would make a lot of scientists emigrate to china. They are a command economy and can do it. Even the gujju's, sindhi's and pakjabi's will kowtow to china as it has a lot of money and that is the only thing the bania's respect. Wake up, india has to deal with a resergent china dominating not only asia but the world.

"2 times the equivalent US salary", biggest doubt, people in china don't work for salary, they work for food and clothes. Think of working for 1/10th of Indian Salary, that is the sole reason for current low rate of production.

"pretty chinese girl thrown in for marriage" !!! come out of your movie world !!! In case u r from porkistan then I can understand the basis of ur thoughts!!! BTW Punjabis, Sindhis and Gujaratis doesn't automatically mean Baniyas and Sikhs are in pretty huge no in army to fight the enemies if such a need arise!
May be china would be super power in 10 to 15 years. But it is all depend on how long chinese people accept one party dictatorship. Recent Google and Avatar controversies demonstrate how chinese government is censoring informations that reach the people. In top 10 best economy in the world, china is the only one run by one party rule. How long this will work?. Only god knows.

Correction, not top 10, it's TOP ONE! So what does that mean? One party rule does not equal bad government, and illiterate democracy does not equal best economy...GOT THAT? You Indians have the notion that multi-party voting produced "results"...oh, no! no! India is a clear demonstration that the contrary is true. Democracy applied in your India only bring misery and despair.

Reasons for banning the Avatar - 1- Seeing the movie chinese people get the feeling they are also thrown out of their houses by the authorities as they try to do it to Navis in the movie 2- Because a state sponsored movie abt the confucius is to be released and they don't want any competition.
A nation and its govt afraid of a movie!!! Doesn't it sound so fragile !!!

Man,Avatar is not banned in China.I have just bought a ticket for 3D Avatar.China is an opened country where you almost can do everything you want.Don't take the Chinese gvt suppress everything for granted. It's a complex country which foreigners can't understand within years even decades. I am a Chinese and you guys must think I am a brain washed person by Chinese gvt. This country has many defects which is always denounced by US and its followers. However,Most Chinese really feel that the life is becoming better than before and more freedom has been given. In recent years, a lot of high level corrupt officals were penalized by law under the pressure of public.Let’s say Green Dam software. The gvt meant to install it on every computer sold in China in order to censor any antinational information an sexy information. However,it was resisted strongly by public and the gvt was criticized by public. The gvt enventually gave up its plan. There are more similar examples to give such as Sun Zhigang incident, South China tigers incident etc. Everyone has his defect, doesn’t it?This country is leading its citizen to enter a better environment in its own way. Most Chinese support this country, love this country despite many potential crisis exsisted. Why the werstern force China to follow them in every aspect? Is their system and value really universial? At this point, the westerns really sounds like a hegemony.China is improving the democracy and human rights condition steadily.Guys,if you

if you don’t believe what I said.Just come to China and live for sevral years and you will find the assumption on China in your mind is wrong at least it’s exaggerated. If you don’t wanna jump out of the well, you will never find how big the sky is.Just learn to understand, respect and tolerate.Sincerely wish India and China both become world powerful country and settle the border dispute and live in peace.
I think every one of us still remember how a chinese news item has described that India should be weakened by further disintegrating it to much smaller states unmanageble and entering into internacine wars. Now it started with Telenagana movement in A.P. the Maoists backing it. The Virasam openly favouring that India should have 56 states instead of 28. Where from the money coming to the separatist movement. Govt should investigate and publish a white paper on this.

Maoists have self sustainable revenue model. Threat supported by few demonstrations would do. Maoists collect money from every shop keeper; threaten industrialists that they will blow their factory - money comes; threaten individuals that their sons & daughters would be kidnapped - money flows. You construct a house - they will come to your door step to collect money; you arrange a wedding- they will be there to collect money.
Please go to North-eastern states. These stories are common.
Is this not sufficient enough to generate revenue to run a parallel government?
