To become a superpower one needs more than just lots of money reserves and manufacturing industry based on cheap labour. Also, to be a leader one should be an example atleast when it comes to basic human rights for the citizens. I shudder to think what will happen to the world if China or even India makes it to the top. If it is China, democracy will be destroyed..and ofcourse it is a well known fact that its better to trust the Americans anyday than the Chinese. Atleast USA is an open book when it comes to their foreign policy, they dont hide their lust for oil etc, but the Chinese cannot be trusted. Their philosophy thrives on domination of the weaker communities and slavery. If India becomes an example, we can expect hypocrisy in all fields, there will be no sense of aesthetics in any creation, and the world will resort to division on basis of religion, and community to thrive, at the cost of each other..Science will be used for selfish ends, not for the promotion of human civilisation. Let us be happy that the Europeans and Americans are at the helm at the moment, for atleast they dont thrust their views and culture on the rest of the world.

just to clarify, it is the consumers who choose Pepsi/Coke over Thums up etc..and therefore exercising a choice does not mean they have thrust their culture on us. We grab it as we dont have any local alternative. Re the Baptists and other denominations, that is more of a privately induced effort, not an American foreign policy thrust. I could also refer to the structures constructed hundreds of years ago and claim aesthetics..but i am referring to what we have achieved since independence. Probably you must be referring to the beautiful roads, expressways, bridges and the 22nd century public transport developed by politicians elected by the likes of you as against what the Chinese have achieved !! Let us be happy that we dont thrust our baggage onto the rest of the world. We have enuff misery as it is.

While China works for prosperity and work for progress,we spend time by writing bullshit and venomous words in the forums..no use being jealous of others,lets develop our country..
If indeed China rules the world as the author suggest, then I would not like to be born again rather I would choose hell as my abode. If god is on the side of humanity, China should not become number one enemy of the world.

well.....auther has forgot about most important aspect that china and japan together owns US's 65% debt...and the amount is in trillions of dollar. China will always pressurize US on any issue with this sort of bills in his hand....and thats what is happening. the power of britain, france and germany is all gone at international level and the only powerful nations are china and US. and looking at US consumption and chinese production....china has started dominating big time in international politics
