I have been to the Hyderababd airport a couple of times. And I indeed thought it was a fantastic landmark. It is swank and svelte. It is spacious and savvy. I am happy to know it is also one of the world's best.

have u traveled to europe and usa (i guess u didn't)? i did and i can say hyd is better than many of those. have some confidence and don't think we are under-achievers. Chinese are proud and confident and hence they can do well. In India many are like you with negative mindset.

This airport is now or may be in typical Andhra fake resume style is now in the top 5 airports in the world.!!!!

What is Telanghanas contribution to this airport to make it part of Telanghana?
May be the solution to this is the old Begumpeth airport be given to Telanghana and this new GMR Hyderabad International Airport remains propertey of Andhra Pradesh.

Dont ever take the name of Telangana.. Its Andhra Pradesh.. not Telangana not Rayalaseema not Coastal Andhra.. Y do u want to distribute to some region.. People like u has changed the scenario of Andhra Pradesh..

This is a rating given by an International Agency - something like ICC World Rankings for cricket. Not something which even Gults can tamper with. And who cares which state it finally goes to? It is in India and we should be proud of it.

they do have duty free beedi and bhang shops inside. only thing you may not be able to afford it. I guess you have never seen this or any european/american airport - your note says it all.

miten shah is from neither part. He is outside AP. AP people fighting amongst themselves have made a mockery of themselves. No economic development for some years. Hyderabad is losing to B'lore and Chennai - all the progress and gains it had made over those two cities is lost in one year. What a waste? By achieving Telangana will the economic development automatically improve? NO. Only DS, KCR, NJR will be minsters - all others poorer as investments will also go away.
