Poor you! Tata did not get anything. The real gainers were other three CDMA players who put applications before the policy was out. Also the 22 other players who got licences even when they were not eligible. Better comment on facts and donot generalise.

For a group which has earned its fortune in opium trade I am amazed at the holier than thou attitude.It is a well known fact that Tata's thrived in an oligopoly and are still following the route of crony capitalism.They have employed thousands of Radia's to further thier end and rob others of a level playing feild.They must be exposed for what they are "Buccaneers".
Without greasing the palm no agency has reached the top of its position. The higher the leaders grow, the moral decadence sets in and then they start preaching and ponitificating like as they tho they are the holiest of the lot and talk hours together on how their industry dint yield to x or y party or official. All these claims are made only once they become acceptable and respectable in the eyes of the media and the society. When the whole India's bureaucracy, politicians and judiciary are corrupt, its impossible to grow without lubricating the machineries of these corrupt people. So Tata should convey to the public nothing but the Truth if they want to salvage his reputation.
1. Personally I have started boycotting TATA products - who cares? - but then its my decision and I CARE. But If I extend this decision to others, I might have walk naked in the streets. 2. I now take the discretion to select the brand based who is less corrupt.

I think more secrets is hidden in Tata Radia tapes than what is already out in public domain. Ratan Tata used his all might and money power to stop those secrets and somebodies has got richer by 100 cr from Tata and its main content now hidden for ever by pressure from PM and others. More than business man ratan tata behaviour during whole this episode in like agent of congress party and supporting its corruption.
In India, Govt is very weak and busy in securing its position, even if they have to take our country to medieval Laws of 'SHARIAT' Etc. Almost all ministers and politicians are corrupt. The beauriocracy is so much corrupted that if any one tries to become HONEST, he will become a laughing stock in the Black Sheep crowd ! Those productive people, who are working for the nation in Industry, Business and other works are being constantly harassed by Income tax , Sales Tax, Central excise, Municipality, Octroi, Land revenue, labour laws and host of other authorities. The one who provides employment, pays taxes is being harassed by the very people who are surviving on these payments ! Irrational laws are intentionally being designed and implemented by the bureaucracy and Govt. with only intention to prove their nuisance value and counter productive acts. Obviously for squeesing money. National Judicial system is in so bad condition that it has become laughing event for rest of the world. It takes decades together to get justice in most of the business and civil matters. Moral of Military & Police is sunk dawn by our leaders to the UNDER BOTTOM level. Earning by Corruption has become new IDEAL to follow for the new generation. Share market Index is made ' Indicator of Progress ' by our underneath political players. Vagabond and black mailing media. Our best of Talents are being hired in foreign call centers in our country to answer the foreigners that how to tie their ' Shoe- lash' ! Our so called Talented 'NGO's are busy in creating problems for the sake of foreign funds and fame being recd by them from western Countries and Media ! The production of Defense Equipment is deliberately monopolized to Govt Factories , who are absolutely poor in their thinking and discipline ! The salary levels are too much uneven and those in government are paid without doing work and those who are working very hard are paid very less ! Obviously, the result is a WEAK NATION !!!!!!!!!!!

And you wish such nation to fight against China, who is building their reputation with Dynamic Changes in government policy, fully disciplined labour force, clear policies for religion, strong political back ground, powerful defense items production and highly trained and disciplined Military, successful financial policy for foreign investment, very low level of corruption, highly efficient judiciary( for good or bad ! ) , full back-up of government to Industry and business, very straight forward labour laws and no-nonsense licensing authority ! ! !

At that time I said to an officer " Do you know our neighbors and enemies are progressing with good support from their government. If harassment of our entrepreneur in this fashion continues, all good people will leave the country and nation will become so weak that you will have no choice but to accept slavery either of our enemy or powerful west. It appears from your article that the time is almost ripping, unless we change our selves ! Gujarat is only state in India, who has proven otherwise. unfortunately, rather than following the good, other states and centre are busy to pull them down !
