Radia Tapes - What should TATA do...???
by ramamani sadasivan on Jan 02, 2011 01:45 PM

I thought - this particular article is a well thought out write up from an ' aam aadmi ' who is in a position to dole out such advice....
Normally, such people ' charge ' money to pick your brains and bring out a report.....But - I dont know why this writer gives FREE advice....

And personally, I thought he had some sense in what he wrote........Maybe, there are others
WHO DISAGREE.....!!!!...but it is their choice..
After all - WE are A DEMOCRACY....for NOTHING....!!!!!!...

Why is rediff allowing disguised advertising
by Rengaswami on Jan 01, 2011 06:43 PM

This author needs an assignment or wants to get into the good books of TATAs for a future assignment. He is a crook of the nth order and is using REDIFF as a medium to get his advertising message that he is skilled as strategic advisor and would like to hired.
REDIFF EDITORS ARE SLEEPING WHILE ALLOWING THIS TYPE OF ARTICLE TO BE PUBLISHED. THIS IS PLAIN YELLOW JOURNALISM AT ITS BEST

Why is Rediff allowing paid stooges such space?
by Punk Guy on Jan 01, 2011 11:10 AM

That the "author" is a paid stooge is very apparent in his advice to the corporates and telecom operators to come together to thwart such future tapping. Is Rediff endorsing this anti-national advice? What would happen to Constitutionally mandated bodies efforts to uphold the law? Crooks of any stature cannot be protected.. and paid stooges such as this "writer" must be exposed for what they are.

this is not the best type of journalism

i dont see the impartial stance, or comparative analysis, or predictions.
Why write a public letter of advice to Tata when a personal email would do?

Free advice is what we, the public, give to each other and everyone, not journalists. This shows the author and Rediff in poor light. Tata is a man with quite a lot of integrity and farsight. You don't need to do this to either warn him or get cozy with him.

... Unless you have found out that writing letters to Tata does not work, because they do not reach him at all. In which case you should probably also mention that, so that you dont look odd.

by vicky on Jan 01, 2011 06:08 AM

Yet another paid stooge of the filthy, hypocrite Ratan Tata playing the role of 'Toohey' to protect the man who can't think of any defense.

Let the Govt apologise to Ratan Tata
by Jitendra Gulia on Jan 01, 2011 02:59 AM

If Government is reponsible to people of india and committed to its growth and image worldwide;it should forthwith address the issues raised by Ratan such as smokescreen to hide almost criminal conspiracies and making India a banana republic.Giving away bandwidth for communication free is like giving away right to print money to private operators. This develops faith in criminal nexus between highly placed officials and businessmen of wrong type rather than sound business ethics. And since big money is involved outside rougue agencies are ready to jump in and that makes it that much more dangerous for for future of India.

Who is this joker writing the article?
by Rajendra Gupta on Jan 01, 2011 02:55 AM  | Hide replies

Phone tapping is prerogative of state investigation agencies. It is part of constitutional process to enforce law and order in country. If the telecom operator tips off the customer concern it tantamount to interfering in investigation and anti national act.License of such operator has to be cancelled. All telecom operators are supposed to keep the information top secret and tapping should be initiated by some senior technician in with the operator.Government should also try some arrangement that detective agencies themselves can start monitoring the signals without referring to operator .It should be possible. This writer does not have any sense what he is writing.
