do u think only rich travels in flights? This fare hike is anti Indian as majority of the Indians can now not fly.
Otherwise they can't pay unjustified high perks to executives or employees.That is why govt always better who charge decent and atleast can't charge exorbitant at will.
Return Ticket from Hyd to Bangkok costs around 18K... It's better to go to Bangkok than Bangalore... These politicians and Business men are rotting India...
The distance slabs mentioned in this article by Airlines need recalibration. It should be less than 1000 Kms (Slab 1), 1000-2000 Kms (Slab 2) and beyond 2000 Kms.
I got a Price of Rs.35000 for mumbai-moscow-mumbai from a travel agent today....jai ho .. i have started liking this govt. atleast somebody is punishing the people of this country for voting them.....jai ho

It seems the left out ministers who have not made more than 10000 crore yet are trying hard to reach atleast that figure since they already models like Kalmadi,Raja,Chavan,Pawar,.... who are way beyond that figure .
Also there is renewed confidence that even if they are caught openly at the most they will have to resign which is good since then they can enjoy the loot better.
Bottomline Madam is closing in towards her ultimate goal and she has appointed oxymorons at the top level in congress to facilitate that.
Maximum and minimum fares are not going to give the entire picture. The airlines should be asked to furnish the mean fares, the variance or standard deviation in the fares and the probability distribution of the fares.
