Just let us know the date will buy one for sure, whatever it is u guys are doing something commendable..No IPAD iam going for an Adam..Anyone joining me to make it a best seller..
Body shoppers like Infosys and Wipro can learn a few lessons from these spirited boys. India is no IT giant - not one decent software or hardware has rolled out from this country!! All we do is employ low income south Indians and ship them to the US for support work.
Apple, Google, Microsoft, Cisco, Dell, IBM, HP - what an impressive list of companies. Someday I'd like to see Notion Ink rub shoulders with these giants. It's entirely possible guys. You will definitely succeed.
Apple sells more on its brand name than its actual usability! Ipad got thousands pre orders even before ppl could realise what it is. If Adam has really what it claims, it should really tie up with giants like Airtel to market their products successfully before competitors pitch in! Otherwise it will vanish as if never existed! But again kudos to IITians! once again they proved what they are known for!
About time there are some innovative products are launched from India. Hope Adam will give Apple a run for its money and impress all the eves. :)
Sorry to hear the state of the IITs though they are considered the best. But the government cant give subsidized education and best salaries to the professors at the same time and most of the end products migrate abroad.

if only our government could encourage and support such inventions and inventors, our people need not go abroad and bring credits to other countries. But who has time to support them. There are people in India who ran autos on water? what happened to them? people move abroad as they get bigger support. i feel that this fellow could soon get a job at Apple
heres a product I hope they try next. a hard-drive cam-corder that can take movie quality video. some good editing software and hey..d-i-y movie. is this goood or bad for movie industry? at present HD camcorders are very good but still havent got to film quality.same about edit software

Then you haven't explored the movie world properly. It seems to me that you have looked at the bottom end of the camcorders. Try looking at the upper end as well try looking for a camcorder with 3CCD's You will be surprised what you will see and yes be prepared to spend some good cash . One gets the sweetness according to the amount of sugar used. If you are prepared to spend around 50lakh on a a camcorder you are looking at a very professional equipment. Also try using final cut for your editing that is what we professionals use it is the ultimate in film editing.
its gr8 that they can do it. i-pad is cutting edge and if they can bring Adam out within a few months,it would be big achievement. btw what's the price? his statement about there not being a single course on product engineering is absolutely correct. have to create such courses. before we used to see Indians doing innovative stuff in silicon valley ,usa..but looks like now its happening in india ..so very happy
I have been following your device for a while now. I can say that it is very innovative and your team has diligently pursued quality and user experience with a rigor that only can be matched by Apple.
I hope you made international (or atleast Indian US) patents for your creative concepts such as backside trackpad, dual screen integration, 180 degree swivel camera assembly and the form factor.
The execution is going to be the expensive and toughest challenge. I hope you have necessary resources or hire a small qualified team in USA and get some powerful VC to back you. A powerful VC with well connected old boys network can do wonders for marketing and mass adoption.
My best wishes. I will buy your Adam tablet as soon as it hits the market.
