re:Sachin keep feet on ground and fine tune hardware
by rama anne on May 01, 2010 08:05 AM  | Hide replies

Hi Sachin and team
I want you to concentrate fully on the following issues:

1.All hardware compatability tests
2.Hardware test when device operated for extended period of time(temperature control etc).
3.Good manual indicating what external hardware the device supports so customers are clear about it.
4.Please launch with vital applications loaded out of box (all tested and smooth).

5.Good demos and provide the device to independant hardware testers that is reputed evalautors.get their valuable feedback and make changes based on merit.

5.I do not know bu feel you need to have a pleasant showroom to sell it ,helpful staff, good knowledge and attentive customer enquires
for example: Though not related ,Tanishq jewellary(Tata Group),Titan showrooms(Tata group) are good examples that show how it should be done .

6.I read your interview know it is android ,open source os and application developers can target it to create more applications,I agree with you ,but of box it needs some classy applications preloaded by launch time otherwise ,it may not attract buyers in the real world.

7.Most of all job is only half done keep feet on ground ..celebarations can come later, after device is accepted ,rugged and accepted well by customers.

share
by Dev on May 01, 2010 07:51 AM

can a co. have a public share offer before having a saleable product ? then these guys should do it ..am sure people wouldnt mind investing amounts like rs10k for a co. having profile like Notion iNk.
if they lose, never mind..this is good effort by indians. but I dont think they will lose. I think if they will be bought out by some big IT co. for large sum in few years.but I hope they are able to stand alone and become reputable brand

But are those photo's real ?
by Ajoy Kumar on May 01, 2010 07:29 AM

Check the orientation of the picture displayed on the models ... they should appear slightly skewered given the angle but are instead straight.

I hope this is good as its promo says. But those photos are misleading.

US Products
by correct on May 01, 2010 07:07 AM  | Hide replies

US products are of very inferior quality out of 10 products you purchase 8 of them are trash fit readily two of them last a bit longer HP IPAQ dell computers ford car and a lot of other crap like that are made in USA. They just create a sensation like twitter is nothing more than a discussion board but they promote it as if it is a super computer and create all fuss around it and to make things worse they take the stupidty till white house and say that obama is now on twitter. So the best thing made in USA is create a lot of fuss and sensation and that is the only thing they are good at other than snorting.

Chances are, that in the name of US products, you purchased stuff made in China. US does very little manufacturing now as almost everything is outsourced to China. But whatever genuine made in US products you do get (except cars, lol), are of very high quality. And yes, they create a lot of buzz because they have a huge publicity budget.

As an Indian, I feel very proud of these guys and their achievement. All the best, boys!

And what US products have you bought? IF you've ever bought any electronic equipment, chances are, they're all US created (different from "manufactured"- any idiot could use a screwdriver and stick two wires together).
When will these petty, infantile, little yahoos grow up?
