Those Islamists who reject Science must realize that their land of origin, the Arabic desert was a barren land unfit for living. It was the invention of motor vehicles which gave them a lease of life as Crude became a source of energy and thereby these Arabic Nations became the nerve centre of wealth and prosperity as accidentally crude in large quantities were found in these areas. So, they should thank Science instead of blaming it as it gave them a new lease of life.
Yes in school my teacher taught us not to"build castles in sand".Now looking at the picture above of this lofty castle literally built on sand one feels its true that castles built on sand will never stand!

both castles in air AND sand don't last.doesn't matter. any loose foundation or lack of it cause collapse and Dubai economy had no foundation ( of petrol, finance, manufacturing, etc etc)

Only if our Govt genuinely undertakes the infrastructure without siphoning of the money by politician the situation will not be as bad. Our own infrastructue is struggling for past 60 years and there is no development other than what the british left in 1947. A sharmeful neglect . Recently our politician and ministers have voted for better allowance for themselves. Who cares for Aam aadmi. It remains as a slogan for election like garibi hatao of Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi.

Many employees in the construction industry of Dubai roughly earns the same as in India.A tile worker earns approx 1200 DHS .They earn roughly the same here.Why go to Dubai?Most of the metros in India have enough construction boom(even during recession).Ofcourse,u r not NRI if you work here.You cannot show off ur cheap sunglasses and stinking perfumes,gold chains(?)

But yes, some jobs have equal salary as in india, i dont understand why they comes?

You can't find construction labout in india, they didnt works, but in gulf they works properly, why ? coz, nobody loves nation, its bitter reality!

They work in gulf because they get paid more. There is no living or not loving the nation. If I offer more money to labour to come work in India, they will happily come and work in India. It is human nature.

for ur information i was in germany and middle east working for a multi national all mylife.I have seen life first hand.The so called employer of the middle east,i know their true colours.When u are paying a recruiter to get your workforce,why they are fleecing money from the poor labourer?Dont u have the moral responsibility to prevent such practice?why they should pawn their house or family jewels to get this visa & ticket?

History is manipulated. People in power at the time had the literatures written to favour their point of view. Why look at history? Just look at what is current. There are so many Islamic countries that have so many problems. Not to say that India and other countries don't have issues. The point is religion does not define or determine progress.

Many before you have said this and many after will, but the best bet for achieving human potential is still capitalism. Its funny that people like you dont have a single example of any other form of governance which has succeeded as much as capitalism has and still wish for its demise.
