america is one third in population to us n 3 times in land and resources to us n had 200 years for development in their democratic setup of governance compared with 60 of ours;level of maturity of their institutions can be imagined;the comparison nt seem 2 b fair,plight of our schools n colleges can well b cn, taking all this into actt. avg student'performnc will nt b near 2 theirs,respectable lady' remarks r only self eulogising, which is an accepted practice in our democracy.....

My IQ is 167...'m General Manager, but no growth since 2 years. I'm just doing spot jogging as per career and feel like quitting India ASAP. The corporate here are driven by politics and not competency.

didn't u hear about pay hike strike of IIT Profs? She is one of the most respected prof of IIT Bombay.
There is a difference between knowing and doing. A degree will only train your mind to think and analyse clearly but it cant' alter your destiny unless you put your ideas to work. In India due to lack of govt. or private support a millions ideas are born and die every day. That is why Indian who move to the USA get the support and do well.
Appreciate the spirit of craeting technocrats/ enterpreneurs by the Institute. A tough job/challenge for a woman at the helm of affairs of the Institute. Cricism of any nature from any body may just be ignored.
