Double standards??!!!???.....
by indian on Mar 07, 2009 02:13 PM  | Hide replies

When India was having protective economy in 80's, these developed economies and world bank dictated terms and wanted Indian market to be opened up. They wanted Indian product to complete and come out successful against International product.

Now, trend is reversed, let US/UK citizen compete with Indian engineers and let market/customer decide the best services.

I don't think US will be sucessful by going into protective mode!...

Learn Share Trading and make thousand per day!!!
by Kadam on Mar 07, 2009 02:12 PM

Share trading is the simple form of business and it needs ordinary IT skills. Buy at some lower price and sell when it is higher. The difference is your profit. End of the day you are your boss.
Reverse trading (Intra) is also possible. Fits keep sell position and then buy at alower price.
Either way yu make money.
Start your career and be your boss.
Good luck.

Obamas Outsourcing Policies.
by rajiv singh on Mar 07, 2009 02:06 PM

What President Obama is now saying is 100 % correct. But Amaricans those unemployement data is given in the article are not those who will be doing BACK OFFICE WORK.So maybe the Big Companies in US will give their work to the smaller companies in US and they in turn will export those work to India.
So there will be lesser empact on getting back office wokk to India.Revenue Generation will be lesser to the Indian Companies,So be cool Indian Software workers/empolyees. Just do what ever you all want to do to bring down Sallaries & Perks of CEO's & Top Level proffessional's of the Indian Software Companies.

You are wrong dear. What Pranab is against Close Door policy emplyed by USA to safe guard it's countries economy. This is the same closed door policy practiced by India before the gloabalisation, against which USA was against.

by abhi on Mar 07, 2009 02:00 PM  | Hide replies

If this move realy implemented ..this will kill USA company in long run ..because they depends on R & D in low cost destination to to make prodcut cheaper .if you do R&D in USA .u will have costly product and no one will buy ..same time Asian and Eropian company will come with cheaper product with same quality because they have advantage of doing R& D any where .

You can not justify like that ,,i am part of one MNC in consumer product development . i know total product development does not happen in one site ..but Indian centers are becoming more evolving and quality has gone very high now ..so India is not seen as now low cost center but also quality center . it is only advantage for India becoming quality along with low cost ..Because of that India centers are now part of main stream of product development..And its difficult for USA company to roll out product at same cost korian & china & erope company will do without Indian cenetr help. so that why this move will kill USA company .( just like GM fighting for survival because of Toyota , Motorola is fighting for survival because

You might know the product which you are working complete but you are only a person who can be removed from the company without giving any reason to you. What are you??? think yourself.

India should be self sufficiant
by Tamilan on Mar 07, 2009 01:58 PM  | Hide replies

Why should India depend on US, be a self sufficiant country. What Obama is doing good for US, for India's good, he will not allow his people are suffering. He is not an Indian leader.

India should start increasing it's area by attacking and taking over Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal. I feel the world now will belong to survival of the fittest, and India has to be ready for blood shed. Else, someone else is going to take over.

GOOD TO AMERICA
by Khadir on Mar 07, 2009 01:52 PM  | Hide replies

OUR PEOPLE EXPECTING GOOD TO INDIA TO BE DONE BY AN AMERICAN PRESIDENT IS TOTALLY OVER EXPECTATION.

THESE PEOPLE WANT AMERICAN POLITICIANS TO ACT LIKE INDIAN POLITICIANS.

THE ONLY WAY WE CAN OVERCOME (THOUGH THERE ARE MANY LEGITIMATE WAY WE WILL NOT ATTEMPT. HENCE THE ILLEGTIMATE WAY) IS

ASK OUR INDIAN POLITICIANS TO INFLUENCE THE AMERICAN POLITICIANS .

TRY TO WITHDRAW THE ANNONUNCEMENTS THROUGH BRIBE.
