the Top brass is already getting more than they deserve @ TCS for the lethargy the exhibit. They wouldn't have complained even if they had a pay cut. Where as the eligible employees have not been given a promotion for the last 2.5 years forget pay hikes. This is just an eye wash for the share holders & board of directors as their pay hike gets reflected in the annual report. Nothing changes its all about flashing the right card at the right time. who cares about the poorer public.

No promotions, VA cuts, increase in office transport rate, no tissues in washrooms etc etc What next? Will they ask us to do charity work while they make their millions... What an example the higher rung is setting during recession!

Hey these are good signs: Top brass has to justify this hike(somehow :)),implies the business expansion is expected. So the mantra for "Unprivileged souls" is to sustain the these times (somehow :))

You are right, Now time has come to relook to the disparity of wages in Indian Corporate World, between a hard working employees/engineers and these White Elephant CEOs ........A Huge salary gap, which should be totally unacceptable, that too in our Indian economy. This shows the policy of RICH RIHER & POOR POORER. I was told that in some Indian Corporate the salary of a Junior level official is Rs.4.00 lacs whereas the CEO gets Rs.24.00 Crores annually.......... Ridiculous !!! It is high time that Govt.of India should have some control over this aspect, Is not it ??
i am a TCSer and happy with my job and company, but this news has disappointed me... even after taking paycuts and NO Increment for current fiscal year... we were happy and not so disappointed... but this news has demoralise us... Where are you GOD... Are you looking at this injustice...
It is absolutely disgusting to note how, the management at TCS is pampering itself, at the cost of its employees. While the per day hour work load has been increased, there are no pay hikes, leave alone any bonuses. TCS has successively over the years has shown how draconian its HR policies are when it comes to remuneration. God Bless the TCS employess
and even more pathetic analysis. this is a report on LAST year's hikes when nobody in IT was complaining.stop acting like it is hike for the current year.
Just makes you SICK reading this unreal story - TCS must be sucking its staff and customers' blood - and their service isn't all that good - that's the sad thing. Unreal pay - STOP this obscenity.
