There is nothing wrong in high package. These CEO's have talent but lack the skills to be enterprenuer. Honest enterprenuer understand that their so called business is becuase of them. The carores of bucks they are making with these CEO's brains.

If they dont have the talent , you could be there??? Of course a company is not run by individual but to lead is the job not all can do and for that they are paid.

i second u.You make so much money,what's the use if you are helping the underpriveledged and poorer section.You cannot take the money with u after death.Gaining spirituality is the only way of emancipation.

What do Mean for increasing huge salary hike for TOP BOSS where as lower people are more working and based on their productivity company on the stage of profit or loss. What ideology permits to board of directors they only aware. Where as few days before they have cut down the salaries of employees due to recession and other factors they have explained. In fact one of the senior executives told that salary may be difference in the same cadre due to his experience and caliber but suddenly they have hiked the salaries of TOP executives. If they have much money let them DECLARE BONUS FOR ALL SHAREHOLDERS. Recently TATA himself told media wrong time went deal for CORUS & JAGUR but he increased the salaries in big manner. "A Good Thinker certainly should Think Once again"
Everywhere on this earth people are cutting salaries especially in the IT sectors and dont know what Tata is doing. What an example they are taking from CEO of Apple and Citi Bank who decide to take $1 salry due to the recession. Tata should have done something more out of box by reducing the salaries of this management honchos and saving this moeny so that they can take some more breath with all the employees instead of using the pink slips for the employees. The normal employee is puting his double the time in the office to save his job as well as company by providing extra service to its clients and this management people they are enjoying the huge pay on the efforts of their employee.........I dont see any Justice here...........What Happened to Ratan Tata who says he thinks of comman man and poor people..........is this the way he thinks......i am afraid if this should be appreciated or condemened.

TCS might be hijacked by ramodorai and Co one day fully...they are only increasing money in their pockets ....they have no Right to do this great INjustice
TATA should interfere and give the money to junior people who slog like anything in TCS...

These people are very narrow minded.... it is becoming like ANZ case in US...big Bosses getting huge pay at this time of crisis..NO Morality.....shame!!
I find that this forum has been totally biased against the management and supports higher salaries for lower rung employees. Guys! give me a break!!Please understand that senior management positions calls for lot of strategic thinking and their performance is linked to business objectives. Do you guys know that at VP levels, as much as 40% of salary is straight variable pay! The developers would not have work tomorrow if these guys do not deliver on business development and customer retention/satisfaction. Though the pay hike sounds exorbitant at the hindsight, it is definitely not illogical as they would have retained/brought in more business especially during these times. Believe me, a company would not simply pay irrationally to its executives. Please maintain a balance.

Why these SHARKS of TCS rewarding themselves so handsomely?What have they done except to snore while the share price is half of what it used to be and salaries of lower staff reduced in the name of recession.Is Ratan Tata there?
