1. Many employees incentives.By giving them a rating for 2/3. 2. No promotions 3. For those who resign at onsite they have to pay $15000 as damage etc..
Hardworking TCSers are rated low in TCS. Chamchas , bootlickers get higher ratings. Recently TCS fired 10000 employees for low ratings. Now only chamchas are left in TCS, their intention is loot TCS from inside. TCS auditors gives bull shit reports all engineered by supervisiory staff. TCS is going Satyam way. Take my word & sell of all TCS Shares at current market rate.
The biggest jokers are the IIM grads in TCS.....these lousy cobblers are the rejects of their own IIM system, when they can't get good top paying high profile jobs in consulting firms and investment banks, they come to TCS, begging for a job.....and end up with lousy low level salaries and non existent work profiles..
And all that they do is make some snazzy presentations on powerpoint and try and impress senior management.....they don't add an iota of value and like leeches, they suck the blood of the techies who are the ones who add real value...my advice to all TCS techies would be to ignore these skums and if any of these skums tries to teach you something, just ask him some basic techie fundaes..he will go scurrying for cover cos he is a big blob of gas......
We suffer due to cost cutting...i left TCS because of no performance although i never got a bad rating..the reason corporate has decided cost cutting so no promotion..there are many like me who work day and night just to see the board of "Cost cutting" ...And these biggies are getting bigger day by day...is this your ethics MR.TATA??
Managers are biggest blunders in Indian IT. They are only engaed in fooling Clients and exploiting talented guys. Most of them are incompetent and frauds and good for nothing. There are exceptions who become managers with proven technical abilities. But those guys can't survive for long.

Haaa haa..Sales guys are the biggest burden to any company. They don't go get any busienss on their own. It's the techie's talents and skills that they present to clients to get business. and the worst part is, they come to the techies themselves to prepare their RFPs and RFIs or even SOWs. Loosers they are. They make me sick day in and day out.

Absolutely perfect reply.......Nice riposte to the message put by Prasad which was not based on facts but fiction.. the fact is that sales and marketing guys from TCS/Wipro are either load of crap from tier 2 B schools are the skum from the IIMS...the bottmers from the IIMs who are able to get good jobs.....no MBA from any B school is able to make an RFI or RFP without the techie inputs......

Managerial roles differ from company to company. I work for one of the famous Indian IT company and I feel that you can not find the breeds of managers that are here anywhere else in the industry. They go out of the way to make sure their reportees are taken care off if they are truly deserving.

totally agree all employees consider managers as gods here thats how the culture has been built. To shout its recession, now enormous hikes
TCS Top brass and Senior Management were underpaid compared to their peers in other IT Companies with stock options, Revenue share etc.
The paycuts by Infy and Wipro executives are mere eyewash as they have already paid themselves with crores in form of stock options. TCS executives got very minimal stocks during their IPO.
Remember it is managers of cheat banks who gave rise to recession and employees all over world are paying price for it. These cheats never take any moral responsibility. 24 X 7 they play politics. These people are terrorist.
The people who add real value must get a better share of the revenue. Its unfair when the techies r getting the boot while their managers who know nothin about software, are gettin hefty payhikes. If all this is done to show a better balanceshhet and to raise market capitalisation then Mr ratan tata, u r wrong. Disgruntled employees can cause the downfall of any great firm. The techies r ur real asset u MUST value them. Now i feel lucky dat i choose to become a doc.

Techies who do tuk tuk on their computer keyboards are not the ones who bring business to the company or convince investors and banker to invest in the company. It is the top management that does this and they need to be paid better than the snobbish techies who earn fat salaries.

What data and statistics do you show your clients to get business? Who ever or where ever the clients are, you sales guys go about doing your business only by showcasing the skills and talents of your techies who are going to cover up for all the fake promises and larger than life commitments you make to your clients. Go say this to your company "snobish" techies, then you will get what you deserve. A techie with excellent communication and negotiation skill can do your job of sales much better than your void brain stuff. You are a burden to our Industry.
