nothing but soundbites. they already fudged the truth about the state of the economy with some numbers. everyone felt the pinch since middle of last year. the prices have still not come down. a toothbrush which costed 35 bucks is now more than 50 bucks. the crude oil prices are down. but plastic prices are still high. this is one case. wtf is happening ?
Be Careful Maran. Last time, you were thrown out by Karunanidhi in the middle. This time you were called by Karunanidhi to get votes. You will not last full term.

It is very easy to make loose talk, (1 cr jobs in textiles sector) as because we are leaving in a Democratic country. Before making promise kindly do these home work a. What is the present situation of Textile industries (govt & private) b. Make out a clearly feasible plan because 1 crore no. is not a joke. c. Where is the market, already so many sick textile unit in all over india d. From where the finance will come (from public money and again after 2-3 years make it a sick unit) to deploy a new project when there is almost more than 25000 dying units e. There is already million people in these textile industries, check with some worker, those who are living below poverty line, starvation, even no money to buy medicine
