What do you think? If we stand on the shores of Kerala, we can see what happens in Sri Lanaka?!!
You're talking like Sarah Palin.
What could we have done to prevent what happened to civilians in Sri Lanka.

Look, Congress is not an undemocratic party. Though I agree that the leadership of the party is with a family.
Has DMK ever made a non-family members the CM of TN?
Congress has had two PMs from the non-Gandhi-Nehru family just in the recent past.
Also, you won't see Priyanka Gandhis nephews or nieces being ministers.
Your DMK is a joke. Kanimozhi, Azhagiri, Stalin, Maran Sr. (dead!), Maran Jr., Karuna........Oh such cheesy uneducated people.
The investigation exposes how Chennai-based colleges violate an SC order and state legislation banning capitation fee. Officials of Sri Ramachandra University (SRU) and Shree Balaji Medical College and Hospital were caught on camera demanding donations from a student who cleared his Class XII exams this year........... see times of india news
Re: how TN politician make money?
by srikanth ganapathy on Jun 03, 2009 09:14 AM
This is only for this day's news. This is message is for parents to make ready this much of money for their children. Other than this nothing will happen to those colleges or the owners of the colleges.
I am reminded of a new 'chief executive' who after taking the charge of the company proclaimed 'Performers are my friends and non-performers are not'. During his tenure nothing great was achieved, except the show and cheap populatity. Maran's statement is very similar to that. The impact of employing 1 crore persons in a loss making sector will cost the Govt Rs 3000 Cr/year directly and another 1500 Cr/yr indirectly. The means, the sector should earn a minimum profit of Rs 45000 cr/yr. This means, the textile production / sales shoould be at least Rs 450000 Cr/yr.Hence Maran's statement is nothing but a cheap popularity drive that too in a loss making sector and these type of ministers will soon sell the country and top up their Swiss bank balance. We should remember there's nothing like something for nothing.Where will they be employed and what is there capability ? If this is meant for job creation, it is a stupid move, as this sector is already over staffed. Does anybody think / protest over this foolish move?

One should critically assess and understand the repercussions of any act which is done with a motive. Start the work after evaluating all aspects in detail. Never initiate any action upon sudden impulse. An intelligent man will think of benefits and consequences of the act he intended to proceed with and he will properly assess the likely advantages he gets by doing the act before deciding to start or not. Dear Govind,
Before making a comment use your brain please to read the comment above.
I am here in Japan but I have complete faith on the calculation Dr. Gopala has put forth.
10% profit is decent. And 100% earning goes to generate job is also maximum assumption.
Dr. Gopala did not take into account how much infra input has to be given. Then Maran's proposal would look more dim.
Dear Govind, people like u are born fools. Whenever Cong will say we change india in 100 days u will dance, and after 100 days you wont criticise instead look for some more issues to dance.

stupid like you only think in such a way.Is he mention 1cr jobs for southies. Idiot shut your sh*t filled mouth
Give respect and take respect. India is made of multiple tribes with different culture, ethnicity, language etc. We preach unity in diversity but not practice going by your comments. If we need stronger India, don't spew venom on tamil people. You sow the hatred by these stupid comments and push people to extremism. There is no point in barking later if Tamil people turns against India. Stay united, we win!

Has anyone thought why we have Tamil baiters but never we have Gujrathi Haters, Orissi Haters, Assami Haters, Punjabi Haters, Kannada Haters, Telughu Haters or even Malyalam Haters.
But yes Tamilians always have a problem that they never were Nationalist and pro India.
And that is the simle reason you have people with a definate opinion about Tamil and Tamilians.
What is the first thought one gets when we hear a Tamil?
Its a person who will try to only favor people of his kind for Jobs, Promotions and Contracts.
You do not find Tamils who thinks above Tamil regionalism and that is the simple reason for the opinion about Tamilians.
Think about it, to get respect one needs to also do deeds which command respect, not just demand respect.
Re: Re: For all the morons who hate Tamil people
by Nannan N on Jun 03, 2009 04:47 AM
There are 2 reasons for that 1. When any non-tamil goes to tamilnadu he struggles because of language problem. 2. A hard truth that TN girls wouldn't trust to have friendship with non-tamils but TN boys win the non-tamil girls friendship. I am in IT field and have seen so many North Indians prefer other states than TN because of want of Illegal S*x.

Do you know what is regionalism?
Bihar - Lallu karnataka - Jaffer sheriff Maharashtra - Thakres Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra - Governments which doesn't share river water with other states.
Re: Re: Re: For all the morons who hate Tamil people
by Corba Sub on Jun 03, 2009 05:13 AM
The hatred against Tamils is purely a perception issue. In reality, you can find politicians favoring their state / towns every where in India. The following are few examples: a) Why did Lallu made so many trains to halt in Bihar without revenue justification ? b) Why Lallu decided to set up rail coach factotories in Bihar and Sonia's constituency despite its backwardness ? c) Why did Mamta decided to construct a dedicated freight corridor between Howrah and North within few hours after taking oath ? d) Why did Patel lobbied with Boeing to establish a MRO facility in Maharastra ? e) Why did Ak Antony lobbied to set up an HAL plant in Kerala despite its labor issues ?
Don't just single out tamils. People like Abdul Kalam and Chidambaram are above regional politics. Perception cannot drive hatred. Stay united.
There are people like Bal Thackeray in Maharastra and Vattal Nagaraj in Bangalore creating the same problem whihch is also anti-India.
