then.. if Telcom Industry provide that much jobs, why not Textile. Software can be writtedn even in Moon. But Cotton and Jute can be cultivated every where.
All DMK ministers have misused the Union ministership to bring projects to Tamilnadu. They never have acted nor will they ever act in the National perspective, as their politics is anti North and regional in nature.
When Mursoli Maran was the Industry minister he misused the Union Industry ministership to act on behalf of Tamilnadu and presurised Hyndai to setup plant in Chennai. This every one knows that and the NDA government turned a blind eye to this misuse of power as they needed DMK's support for majority.
Same will happen now, Textile industries will close in Mumbai, Surat, Ahemdabad , Kolkatta and Ludhiana, and yes 1 crore jobs will be created in Tamilnadu.
It wont be long when only regional parties will have elected MP's in Parliament and every Union Cabinet Minister will only work for his state and not the whole country.
DMK is a prime example how to pretend to be at the National level and only work for the betterment of 1 state of Tamilnadu when the remaining 27 states can well go to hell.

when congress(north indians) are not ready to give the ministries we had asked, how will we be happy about you people. so till now some T.ministers from Mumbai, Surat, Ahemdabad , Kolkatta and Ludhiana (your list) had taken their share and now it is our turn to improve TN. Any how be happy TN is in India and never forget the winner takes all.

out of some 80 ministry, 10 are from TN. let other 70 ministers do their work for their States. On the whole, Indian people will get benefit.

Still we have a lions share. The problem is the 70 are ineffective when compared to TN ministers. Check out the highways in TN which was laid in the last term. Nowhere in india you can see such highways and bridges. TN ministers are wonderful that is why we gave the second term to them despite of many local issues.

When maran was a minister, Didn't he do the good deeds globally through out India. How the hell can you write about him with such a narrow mind. coming to the topic, what triggered you to write so and Tell any deed that he did alone to TN and not to any other state.

T R Baalu is a corrupt guy and still did good for his state. Other corrupt ministers for the last 60 years just ate and did nothing for the state, that is the difference and the bitter truth about politicians.

Hi Guys, Mr Veerapa Moily already saying that reservations for SC ST OBC s? why dont these congis do not think about long term development goals. before and after polls also these people think about pleasing muslims and OBCs. i hope these people start reservations for Minorities also.Lets hope MMSgo ahead with some econamic reforms to develop infrastructure for superfast growing population.

they have one and only long-term goal. That is to keep India illiterate and thus can come to power for generations to come
US should manufacture Rickshaws (Cycle & Auto) an ply on its roads. It will save Obama adminstration tons of US Dollors, conserve fuel and generate employment.
though all politicians are corrupt incl this guy. Still he is young, educated and got little bit of vision. He will do 1000 times better job than karunanithi or tr balu or raja or alagiri.

just being young and educated makes no difference! these are high flying thugs who just go any miles to fulfil their personal agenda in the expense of the country! never believe in all these flowery words of 1 cr jobs... if that was the case.. we would have had our country long time developed... unless the politicans stop mending with private sectors and leave it to the individuals to grow for themselves this country is destined to be like this for few more centuries..

Sirish, Let me say something. Textile Industry is very big. China is far ahead of India. If India plan itself and work hard, this is possible. btw, 1Cr jobs is not a big thing for Textile industry. But will our Maran do it? thats a big question.
