The sea link is supposed to reduce the time taken to travel, with petrol and disel prices increased and the toll tax on the bridge can we still say it to be a social infra project which the congress govt is hyping about.This is a mere bluff fooling the citizens we have to pay extra then why do we pay taxes then if we have to pay seperately for each and other services.Better next time during the elections choose an independent candidate with aclean image and whom you belive would work for you without expecting any sort of kickbacks.Why dont we go for sm1 like Capt.Gopinath or Meera Sanyal and others who still havent got into the dirty business of politics.Think ten times before you caste your vote next time.

fully agree with u...if the country still has huge deficits in terms of financing the infrastructure govt finance department should resign in shame. they build roads and bridges and charge the public, they do not provide basic health facilities even to the poor, education is what still is far from the lower class. & the only way they can think of upliftment of the poor is by providing reservations on caste basis!!! what a shame as a nation we are undergoing....reservation should be on poverty basis rather than caste. & we must demand accountability by RTI
I strongly oppose the proposal to name the new sea link bridge after Rajiv Gandhi.If respect is really to be paid to him,there are already a 1001 stadia, roads,kiosks,libraries, bhawans,airports,even wildlife sanctuaries named after him and yes,how can I forget Indira n Nehru.Is there nobody else born in India or well,Maharashtra great enough, through his deeds or contributions worth considering his/her name for the same?This clearly shows that the names of Rajiv,Indira n Nehru are used for political gains of self & parties only & also show to what length one will go to justify his psycophancy.Even dogs have better ways to show off their allegiance to the masters so I don't consider them as dogs too. In this case it is Sharad Pawar who is nurturing his comeback dreamss to the Congress. It is now for Sonia to decide if she still harbours the psycophants or rises above the occassion to be mature enough not to accept the proposal of naming the bridge after Rajiv as already a 1001 things are named after him.If yes,she can overcome the syndrome,she & her party wins over a vote(from me)the next time around there are elections and am sure there will be a few more lakhs with me as 1 reason I have hated the party for is naming things after Rajiv,Nehru n Indira only.If not, at least I can name my toilet as Rajiv Bhawan!!C'mon Mumbai,can u oppose d move n win?It is now Sharad Pawar n Congress v/s Aam Admi n other greats born in India.Who wins,wanna bet?
Simple suggestion for this bridge - Name the bridge in such a way that,no argument and no security expenses of many CCTV, Police, Cost guard and so on...name it - AJMAL KASAB and all your problems are sorted out. nationally and internationally every one happy. As such can happen in India only.
the exit/entry points at worli seaface, have been made without the use of any design sense. the bridge opens to these points at 90 degrees and creates a bottleneck for cars that should otherwise have the opportunity to access the bridge at 40-50 kmph. the bridge should ahve made landfall at the road after the aarey colony, onto the mela restaurant road!! to save some money, the builders have compromised the scenic and serene beauty of the worli seaface. who is answerable?? well obviosly no one. since our leaders and thinkers are more concerned about an appropriate name to the bridge rather than an appropriate design of the bridge entry and exits. shameful!!
As expected the ppl of mumbai will just go for anything thats for free hahaha. Just see the day the toll starts you'll hardly find 100-200 vehicles using the sea link. Phokat mein milega to mumbaikar kabhi nahi chodega ;-)

Now he finds her indian, now he has nerve to "change it from SAVARKAR bridge to Rajiv Gandhi" There is like he wants to lick her feet. Wht it it not Sachin Tendulkar bridge? Why it has to be some indian politician? that one who accepted kickbacks in bofors scam? It looks like there are no more marathi capable people left, we have only a**hole politicians who will carry names of all over the place.
Why can't it just be plane "Bandra Kurla Sea link road" or "Mumbai Airport"? Why it has to be Rajiv Gandhi airport. Some congress politician said yestarday sait it was selected as Rajiv Gandhi was born in Mumbai? So what? Then Sunil gavaskar was born in Mumbai, sania mirza.. many of them! Then why it has to be Rajiv? It just indiacates that MR. pawar is a dog of sonia, he will bark when she wants he will lick when she wants Hell with you pawar DOG!

prashant bhai, what can we do? the illiterates r the ones who vote...and they r in total awe of the Gandhi name.
Even though food prices have gone thru the roof and will go up further due to the petrol/diesel price hike, these fools will once again fall for the same old "aam aadmi" crap.
