Donot insult yourself any more by such self contradictions for even your statement is just a statement. For evolution there has to be a spontaneous beginning! At this point of time all you can have is an opinion on successful delivery of what has been projected. Just go back to the prices of the mobile phones with intelligence you will start questioning your own opinion. Even with all that they are still just opinion's.
Re: US$ 10/- Laptop

They are trying to bring this news so fast spreading because Lok Sabha elections are near.
from todays Times of India- The much-touted laptop for the masses said to have been built by students of Vellore Institute of Technology that would cost a mere Rs 500 actually turned out to be only a computing device. Making this clear at the inauguration of the national Mission on Education Programme organized by the Union HRD Ministry here on Tuesday, joint secretary N K Sinha said the computing device is 10 inches long and 5 inches wide and has been priced at around $30 at the event. However, he refused to comment as to why was it being projected as a laptop when it was not. The so-called laptop actually turned out to be a storage device containing megabytes of data info which can be accessed by a user by connecting this device to a laptop. It meant that unlike the internet, this device can display that information that has already been stored.
Some delegates at the exhibition claimed that with the help of this device a laptop caosting about $60 can eventually be manufactured. But for now at least the $10-laptop turned out to be damp squib.

This post will make sense if you have supported your statement with specifications justifying it as a digital diary!

electronics price can always become v.cheap.look at dvd player..few years back it was like rs10,000 plus , now available for rs 1000
This "laptop" is nothing more than a glorified USB drive with a processor that maybe slightly powerful than a calculator - dimensions slightly bigger than the 1st generation cellular phones (or a brick), and costs double the touted price of $10!! It's vapourware, even the failed Simputer seems to be powerful than this one.

Hey frns it's a very good initiative taken by us....500-1000 Rs u getting access to net it's amazing...but few beleive that 2 gb space is far less...then for those ppl there's Asus netbook which is very compact.n stylish ...n d best part its pretty affordable......so nw choice is urs!!!stop blaming others 4 their gr8 initiatives
i think it will be like a smarter version of those kids educational laptops. anyway gr8 if they can do it. asus eepc is the cheapest laptop available now..about rs12000 i think.but it has only 500mB RAM so its slow. I have been told a laptop needs 1GB RAM to work well.
Looks like one of the most foolish joke tossed by Mulla arjun singh and is a good way of wasting precious taxpayers money, the indian way. If they have a laptop then why not they release pictures of it, any details about specs. Looks like IITs and IISc have also becoming a indian government departments.
Secondly i think why arjun singh is named arjun, (The original arjun was a hinduisms great warrior and this present arjun is big blot on hinduism).
