A lot to One OR One to Lots
by Naresh Gangwal on Feb 21, 2009 12:33 PM  Permalink

All the past govts allotted lots of rupee (say in Billions)to a big single project as loan. Instead of lending abig amount to one, I think lending a small amount (say few hundred thousand)to many small units can help boom the economy of India. This should be strictly taken care of by RBI (Not by white elephants). What do you say friends?

If you are getting jealous, i can understand, but pl accept the facts. This is a problem with your type of ppl in india, never accept facts that you will continue to work in the back office for the US eventually in Bengalurupuruturukuru or watever but will attack if you see someone leaving for the place you crave to be in but alas cant go. I feel sad for you. poor boy. dont worry i already have my visa so your prayers wont come true. but mine will. Amen!

Dear nishantbret,I also smell something that is burning.. as you could not find a decent job in India and are getting out of the country, for money. We do the back end work form Bengalurupuruturukuru, and yesmany here crave to visit foreign countries, but you are one spoilt brat of a wealthy father who does not know wht is to earn money with hard work.

Mark my words dear you will come back to India with the tax payer money which Indian pays for all the poor bankrupt people who with out any option chose to return to India.

If you have any sence of respect for any body, other than your self. Will be decent enough to ask for forgiveness and carry out your work.

And more over you will go next year correct? :) Lehman Brothers never in their wildest dreams dremt that the company would tumble in to the abyss. So you never know what happens next keep your american fingers crossed.

And we are not bother a bit even for you why on the earth will we bother what you want your next generation to be.

I am replying because you are Shouting your mouth out in a indecent way about my -our country. Pls mind your tongue..else might cost you dearly.

I love the way my country is and we will make it better.

Where do the houses gone which were available before 2006. Was there any dearth of hosing at that time? Who is snatching the houses and sending the people on to the roads?

The banks have loaned the people indiscriminately at low interest rates (7.5 % in 2005) and hiked the same to current levels of 13.5%. What input casts have gone up for bankers to increase rates so steep?

Banks shall bring back the interest rates to below 2005 level. Profit margins shall be brought down by all industries to single digit level. Industry shall concentrate on increasing turnover. Instead of resorting to retrenchments, Industry shall take up alternative productive assignments in the areas of infrastructure building. All our brains shall work in finding alternative productive assignments. Government shall plan infrastructure projects involving construction, software etc. Every employee retrenched with out alternate job retrench 10 dependent employs.

Left parties saved India

India must be thankful to left parties for stopping Manmohan Singh from completely selling our economy to America..
Manmohan singh himself now admits that "Globalisation" is the main reason for this economic crisis..

Left stopped him from selling of public companies to foreign private companies, while they support UPA government.
This is the main reason for India's less damage in this global economic crisis

My Indian friends and Family(they read Rediff)

Firstly, I don’t want to play blame game so here is what I think, you can process the info here and come to conclusions as Indians are one of the most intellectual people in the world. So this post is for them not for someone to reply saying stuff about my mother or father..! It’s just cheap!

1. why should we waste our time to discuss about the USA. why to become self proclaimed gods who can predict DOOM of USA and that USA will fall etc. it's even immoral to think bad about someone or some country(Our culture says that, remember about the Gandhi's 3 monkeys).

2.If you point a finger at someone saying that he is a bad person then again, Gandhi bapu says that another 4 fingers are pointing at you so look at yourself if you are capable of pointing fingers at someone or not, the first picture in this article is a homeless, we talk about homeless people in USA, how many of them we have in India? Should we point fingers at USA?

3.We talk about poverty in USA, how about poverty in India? Oh ya it’s Britishers fault, all we do is blame.

4.Does India has social security benefits? how about Disability benefits? How about free healthcare of senior citizen? How about free medical care if you don’t have money? How about when you have a cancer they will treat you first and then ask if you have money(My mom had a cancer, we only had to pay 10 percent of the costs as we could afford only that much at that time).

To be conti..!

Lets introspect first.

How sound are our IT companies? Are they technology leaders or offering BPO services? Have they come out with innovative stuff like an OS - or do we have an Indian IT company that is leading in electronics?

R&D is the need. We lack it. Right from the IIT's (it is a well known fact that most Ph.D's in Engineering even from IIT's are a total waste).

The education system has to be overhauled. Politicians like Tamil Nadu CM (Family Politics), those that depend on caste, etc should be given the boot.

Dont know where to start though ...

Dear Nishit,
In India we have a enough no of government hospitals. Which serve every one with free treatment. There are many good NRI's who have funded many NGO's (unlike you)These NGO's Identify the poor and other people who require treatment.
And all the senior citizens are also welcom to use these bebifits. But people like you degrade the govt hospitals - and want "safedi ki chamkar" all multi specality hospitals. And go shouting about India Sitting mileas away.
If you do not know abt the facilities please go check with the concerned dept.

For god's sake There is RTI act you can get any info. and simply do not condem one system because it is better than other. America had more than 2 centuries of freedom and independence , internal violence before it is wht it is today. And is no match for India , as India has progressed much beyond what america could have Imagined. in 60 years of independence.

5.i just read something about Maharashtra and Bihar, what is that ? one person can not move from one state to another for work ? In USA is not like that. And then also it's facing problems how about India? so think about that, please don’t worry about USA.

6. I'm surprised when Indians of all the people in the world worry about USA, USA is one of the world's most literate country, which means they can figure out their own stuff, they don’t need anybody's help. And why cant we discuss India’s problem, why we have to worry about USA, let them fall if they will why Indians should care? We have our own problems to solve.

7. USA is accepting that they have problems, First step to resolve a problem is to accept that you have a problem, how about India? Do we realize how many problems we are facing? poverty, hunger, homeless, drinking water, child care, communal riots, we are divided in every way it's possible to divide.

8. How about Women, USA has highest number of CEO's and executive women in the world, how about India?

9. Education, if we forget everything else, then even community colleges have AC and heater for poor and rich alike.

I’ll write more but just think about this. Again I’m not trying to teach you lessons. it's so shameful, when my American co-workers read your comments and forwarded emails all over the internet and then ask me why these intelligent Indian people cant see their own shortcomings and work on that instead worrying about USA.

we totally agree with your points. Only because of US companiens many famillies in India is having thier daily bread and butter. Think of Infy, Wipro,TCS which employ more than 70,000 employeess each without having US clients. every one will become jobless, no real estate owner can sell thier apts or rent thier apartments. No Auto wallas will get regular commutation customers for office, now tea/ cigaratte shops in front of IT offices will run on profits. a Hit in US is a direct Hit on us. We should agree the fact that US is showing so much Hospitality in allowing Indian / other Foreign nations to work in US even when they are suffering a job cut for thier own people.

5.Ther was racisim in with regard to colour in America too.Until Lincon. So do not tell me you do not know the history of the place you stay.
6. Yes USA is the most litrate contry. 36% students drop out of school after 10th grade, and 17 % after 11th grade,
only 4% further to do graduation.
And I have news for U if you have not seen the figs published by the edu dept of USA these 36 17% are the majority people who land up in jail cos there parents are seperated or they do not know who their father/ mother is. It is the values you pass on and the way of life that you pass to your successive generation.
as said earlier for these issues "poverty, hunger, homeless, drinking water, child care, communal riots, we are divided in every way it's possible to divide" we need more time and did not have 2 centuries.
8. About gender equality. See america could not stand Hillary becoming President -- as she is a women. in 2 centuries tellme any influntial women who has come to power. and you say women CEO's are more, in USA, for your info most of the CEO & Executives of america ie 36% are people with roots in India.
About Education, there are many good schools. Here the quality of eeducation is important and not if the school has a heater or AC and the education on the teachers N not if there is AC in school or College.
If your counter parts are so intellegent tell them even they went through all these during their 2 centuries of independence.Ask them to read their own history.
