Seenu Subbu is right.

The World economy is so linked together that fall of big economies like US, Britain, Japan would completely jeopardize the smaller economies.

The growth of economy of India in the last one decade is largely driven by American, British and Japanese economy. They money came from there and a few sectors flourished. But majority of India is still far away from the word called progress. So, fall of big economies will take Indian big cities back to 80s.

Life continuous. Kings and empires flourished and vanished. Democracy or communism rose and fallen down. No one stays at number 1 position for a long time. You need to take rest. And there is no rule to be number 1 all the time. That makes any game boring..BORING!!!
Every country is as independent and successful as the mind and motivation of its Natives.

Keep dreaming. Care to look at the poverty and destitution in your own backyard first? India is being torn apart by internal and external violence, and all some people care about is that America should become poor! I can see that Comrade EMS and his ilk have nicely brainwashed you. Live in the real world, not in Chez Guevera paradise..

You, the Menon name sake of that infamous Defense minister who brought shame to India, must be a commie. If USA becomes poor as of today, a country called India will fold up in the next few days. If India were a Socialist economy as in the days of Indira Gandhi, we had a chance to survive. With current expansion and demographic changes, people will be out on streets burning buses and cutting other people down. Enjoy the show then.

The crisis of money and market
by sunil deshpande on Nov 26, 2008 09:27 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

1. Less purchasing power
2. Huge production worldwide
3. Lower returns on the investment
4. Calculation of gdp is consistently changing worldwide.
5. No consistency in raising the capital and its proper use and its returns
6. Situation is seemed to fit for the compare with the great recession of 1929.
7. Population growth is constantly rising worldwide
8. Imports becoming too expensive and the duties on the export becoming a great dilemma for the new producers
9. forex situation worsening worldwide due to impact on direct export of the commodities.
10. Agriculture industry is in sick condition world, though there is a production in the agriculture but there is no perfect guarantees to the farmers in which they are rarely getting a huge benefits. 2 times meal means nothing, their producing cost is becoming more higher than the yield.
11. The high capitalistic countries have to suffer in a major quantum.
12. rate of economic development may become slower than the previous
13. This is a super stagflation like situation.
14. the exact fault cannot be cure instantly
15. Indian Government is taking nice decisions in de-escalating the interest rates, if there is consistent down fall in the interest rates on the, loans, agriculture loans and the higher rate of returns to the deposit then it will be nice to "play with running deposits" in the market, in short cash flow will be indiscrete. The foreign market situation may become more worsen.

Money and market is for people who want to play with money.
Problems are much much bigger than this.

if US got 1000 unit of money. India or any other country in the world (except few European nations) has less than 50
and if US losses just 100 units..whole world becomes sad..
and third-world countries are loosing significant amount of money out their so small 50 unit money daily...nothing happens
Can you just care about urself, ur own home, the country u live in

US needs to start WORLD WAR III
by Jack on Nov 26, 2008 08:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

For all the gurus and smartas$ on this forum ..... if you google the great depression you will see that it was WORLD WAR II which got US out of the misrable times.

Without WAR it is practically impossible for US to be the world's supreme power.

Times have changed ..... back in those days half of the globe was under british as slaves.

So fellas read more and learn to accept the future rather than being foolishly optimist about the US.

The plan *this time* around is to spend the money domestically, in internal infrastructure. Last time around, they "rebuilt" Europe, very clever. "Rebuilding Iraq" doesn't seem to work, because Bush's friends ate up all the money.

How life has changed for the Americans

Photos does not tell any story. It is only matter of time US would bounce back. These are common in economy, and good also so that the weak elements are eliminated. Of course this has cost, but nevertheless worth it.

Badri , Nice joke. Last time something like this happened it took 8 years to get up from the kick in the belly.

If it is as bad as depression 1929 then it will take longer with some occasional spurts in market .

Yours was too nice a joke. What are you trying to imply here? That US is doomed for ever. If that happens, then more than half the countries in the world would have been already doomed.

You better worry abt things in India. Coz when the next prez comes in all the offshore work will be curbed and you'll be on the streets searching for a job maybe for years.....

It is not joke, and there is no point in cutting jokes in this matters. Business cycles and economic cycles have certain period of curves both the downward and upward movements. The cycles could move up and down in short period (1-2 years) and long period (5-7 years). For the people who have lost in share market even one year may look long and for others who depend upon risk free income, the longer depression period looks shorter. BUT take it for sure world economy is bound to bounce back. The down point is yet to be reached as the depth of the crises is not known. Once this is clear the upward trend would definitely follow. This may be sooner i.e., finding of the bottom of the crisis.

It's a matter of time, said he. Time could be 2-8 years, another 20 years, who knows. Or may be it will take another World war to get out of recession.

Re: Americas heart kingdom of Heaven is the goal. (new world order etc..)

america is a successful nation not because of christianity or any other religion but in spite of it. the nation's founding fathers were not religious at all.
hindutva gives you the option of believing in whatever you want and does not judge anyone.
sigh! if only morons would desist from trying to convert everyone and instead concentrate on building the nation.

to whom are you telling these to indians they can never believe you. the hindutva that is in india is different from the hindutva that is preached abroad. in india a man is judged by his caste, by his birth, politics are all caste creed and religion based. if hindutva was such a good thing why is india still in such a poor condition?? dear friend i firmly believe american downfall is not linked to religion at all but to their arrogance and their falsely justified wars.
