It is true that America is going through a rough patch now, but the country has in past demonstrated great bounce back. Every great economy goes through these economic curves. In US always a recession has been followed by prosperity. History will repeat itself. Period.

Liberalization of women seems to be an big problem for u Dhananjay Kumar..u are obsessed with Number of Rapes..let me contrast it to our India..my Bharath..here every second lesser rapes occur..because our women are not liberated..and our Indian Males are more conservative..right..and our culture is best..Right..but the real fact is same like in Islamic nations no rapes are reported..so it means NO Rapes occur here..Kumar saab a honest look tells us that rapes,murders,robbery,thefts,grafts,corruption etc etc..are never reported due to our nation being an third world country..here there is no penetration of media..no truth reporting..no one complaints..no cases reported..all news moderated..the truth concealed and hidden because of fear,corruption,and due to ignorance..in america or western world they have acess to news,views and media..corruption is almost nill..people have security and basic rights and education..so things get media high lighted..the only problem is too much media exposure..little left to privacy...kindly do not fall to islamic false propagandas that rapes occur in west not in Islamic nations kind.//

I agree 100%....go to some of the villages of Kashipur , Rampur , Khatoli , Baghpat of UP (I did my sales work) ...trust me all of us who are writting (i.e. knowledge of English, internet , electicity, computers) will not be able to think about their families being there for even 1 night ....we all are lucky and blessed ...and coward (at least me)..we want the equation to be balanced for ever...how else u will get a kam wali bai for kapda/bartan for Rs 700/month??

Since ages back men like you always found it easy to blame it on woman and thats sick mentality. Ok answering ur Q about 26 sec(i dont know where u got that at first place...) first of all US is developed country so official reports are mostly close to practical happeneings unlike developeing or underdeveloped countries in the world. Secondly 75% of those reports are outta grudge. If couples have fight between them, girls file rape against partner out of rage. Many times they themslef bail them out but the report already become part of statistics. Many other countries women are either afraid of social stigma or community ban which is really pathetic... tommy, india has a weak law and order. there are no police staions in many villages. also police face many pressures like political pressures and also they dont have the logistical capabilty to respnd immediately to maintain perfect law and order like absence of sufficlent vehicles and communicatin gear etc. but whats wrong in US. there law and order mechanism is good and its not diffuclt for them to prevent a rape. police have the capabilty there to respond immediately. Then why so many rapes there.

Just think practically the life of a Indian widow and what if fortunately she's a bit good looking too, thn her rest of the life is RUINED and screwed. American's never entertain such Barbaric acts. Such things happens everywhere but it's not a Custom practiced religiously in US like India.
You get your Masters in India and work in US on H1 and L1. After 5 years You get a Green Card. Who the hell wanna return now.
I've never seen anything Praiseworthy happening in India except growing POVERTY and CORRUPTION. The voice of common man is always BURIED under the heavy hands of Bureaucracy.
There are lots of points to share, but due to time constraints, I'm concluding myself.
40% of Indians still can't make out 3-Meals a day and earns less than $1 (one US Dollar a day).
Did any of our political leaders ever tried to fight this EVIL?
And you want a COUNTRY like this to be Called a "SUPERPOWER". I really pity u.

More than half of worlds black money held in swiss bank i.e. 1.44 trillion US$ belongs to Indians. Naturally millions of Indians have to sleep in open air and that too without food.

correct and compare the % of poor, India will be way behind in those indices and will be near bangladesh,pakistan (good neighbours)
Even with US economic fall we may rejoice but, the fact is our exports are mainly to US/UK/Europe.
Further, our economic rise is mainly due to providing cheap work (BPO,softwar) to those bada gora sahab and that cheap dollars translate into a lot of cash in India atleast in Indian rupees.
US is strong economically and will come back quick. This fiasco is due to low controls on financial institutions but they will do the needful as, they did after enron scandal.
Compare it to India, car factory is not allowed to be made, terrorist attacks are now part of our daily news.
US is still more safe than India just see after one 9/11 they have not only cornered but also are roasting them to pieces and in India even after attack on red fort, parliament, bombings in temple, market (almost every where) no strict law, no action and foresight to tackle the menance.
Hence, irrespective of the rejoice of US failure we, will just feel good and back to our cheap back office work
American society is no longer dominated by inventors but by crooked MBAs and business nerds who supress real talent and make money out of other people's talent. Also, the women run after such crooked rich people. The women have no feminine qualities and are almost like men. It is a crazy society. Now, it has started corrupting Indian women and society. Indian women are even worse than theirs.
