1. What is the First class ticket price in Bridnavan or lalbagh to chennai ? or will a international traveller travel in second class or general compartment to chennai ? 2. How far is nearest lalbagh/brindavan stop to Chennai airport ?
3. How much luggage will a internationa ltraveller will carry and how he wil handle this during the train journey, transit ?

Looks like this Airport serv only for Rich and upper middle class. The transportatation cost is too much. State goverment should take some steps. If you copare the cost of living bagalore is number one city. None of the other citeies can beat.. Comming days rare to see indian culture in the city. In Karnataka everybody focusing on Bangalore next Mysore... there are places which behind several years...

ya its true very costly...so why people go air.if any 1 want to go nagpur from bangalore they air time is 1.30 hrs...fair is 3000rs but now it is 3 hrs drive & 2Hr before total 5hr 1000 extra and air 2hr total is 7 hr and 1500 extra means no need to go by air... rajdhani took 18 hr 1500 rs only and the overnight journy..so go through rails

City to airport bus services - Rs.70 - 200 Travel by personal cars - 2 hrs drive (fuel cost) Valet parking charges - Rs. 150 (Oh my) Parking for 24hrs - Rs.300 ( Shouild be nearer to 200) Price of a coffee - Any Guess for the brand mentioned Imagine a person travelling to Mumbai / Chennai / Hybd or Bhubabneswar what his plight would be? No need to mention charges for International passengers. Oh my hope my city would not escalate the costs too much by taking this as an hint.

I do not know why people are worried about the coming new airport and distance to travel. Anyhow what percentage of city population travel on air and air alone. Very small percentage. Like our Kempegowda circle.. city railway station and bus stations resulting 10km radius city to 30-35 kms radius city now.. I foresee that new international airport will do the same thing in future to bring shift from old central point to new one.
Wew should be happy to build a new planned city emerging in future as result of the new airport working as triggering point. Only worry remains in our minds is that it will become again elite and rich persons city. What we can do for that. The best talent and the richest folk [ including muscle power] will take the best part of the cake whether you like it or not.
So much about the problem. Let us allow the shift which will have within 5-10 years time. Bye
