On a serious note, the traffic is going to be a nightmare, since the only way to get there is by road (single road). 2 hrs from Koramangala on a normal busy day.
EVERY ONE WANTED HAL AIRPORT TO STAY I DO NOT KNOW HOW MUCH MONEY GOT EXCHANGED SO THAT GOVT RULED IN FAVOR OF BIAL, GOING TO BIAL WILL TAKE 3-5 HOURS FROM MOST PART OF BANGALORE CITIES, NOT TO MENTION THE ROADS ARE DARK,YOU WILL NOT FIND A SINGLE POLICE IN 5-6 KM STRETCH. I AM SURE EVERY FEW DAYS THERE WILL BE GUYS KILLED GIRLS GANGRAPED ON THE WAY TO NEW AIRPORT. MOST CHEAP AIRLINE WILL STOP FLYING TO BANGALORE FOR SURE.

My dear Bangaluru lover when you last came to WB or atall visited? Bangaluru is not Karnataka mind it and IT provides food to how many people in India? What is the population density in Karnataka? Compare it with WB and then talk nonsense. If you people think this fuc!ng airport will give you prosperity, you are a fool. I being in Chennai travel to Bongaloooru every fortnight and find your city more pathetic than even overpopulated kolkata. Anyway I now prefer to travel by other means than by Air to Bongaloooru.

Kolkatta may be overpopulated and less pathetic. But Bangalore is the third highest revenue earner in terms of income tax returned.And it is the busiest sky in South India. Money matters.

No body is forcing you to use , its left to people either use it or not ,people staying near yehlanka had the same problem for HAL Airport

These bickeringd will be there always from negative minded people. It was the same case wth HYDERABAD Airport also 2 months back.Today everybody is enjoing thenew airport. When once you r in the airport for first time everybody's jaws drop. There always will be protests whenever things turn for change that is better. Today nobody talks of the distance of airport at HYD. The journey of 40 kms takes 45 mts for me from Anandbagh/ Secunderabad. Iam happy., so as so many others. These medias -print as well as TV makes a hell of a problem out of nothing. We have such an idiotic media in place.

We do have a media , which can be utilized properly, but no one cares, every body wants sleaze , sex and time pass materials or they require good goofed up praise of some 3rd level leader .. a neta..

Yes I m proud to say that BIAL is Bangalore's biggest achievement. If there r not proper roads, that is Govt's problem and not BIAL's. BIAL plan was approved in 1998. What is Govt doing from then???

Yes Arman , These Questions has to be hurled to the Govt. feasting on hard earned taxpayers money..
The land belongs to people. They are now extracting every penny over and above that. I dont think that ethical business. Every passenger now think that they are being looted. Public sector HAL airport and Public sector railways is better.
The BIAL site is full of Blah Blah of BIAL infrastructure. There is no info on the flight schedule. I hope they will include those also, could be of help to passengers.

i voted for BJP...i m not a farter like u voting for JDS who will get hardly 20-30 seats and distrub the entire assembly. I m not angry at BIAL, in fact I m happy for BIAL which marks my country's progress. nobody likes JDS here... infact they have looted the tax payers money from the last 2-3 years. kumaraswamy has increased his wealth by 150 crores in the last 40 months. he and his father have amassed a wealth of 1000 crores and also declared it at the time of election. these ppl are definetly a disgrace to any society.
btw...this city has been spoiled by migrants coming in very large numbers who dont have any gratitude to this place. u come to this place for work, eat the food here and drink this water. but praise ur own city. What a joke / Similar jokes were in circulation when HYD airport was to be opened in march. Now people say 45 minutes to one hour is sufficient. What with the present condition of rods. When once the road network is in place it will be still better. In any case u can not have an airport of this size and capacity anywhere near the existing airports. Be it Hyd or Bangalore. This fact is to be digested. by thepeople who go on cribbing in this matter.

2hr 45 min during 2:30Am to 5:Am and after that its 5Hr :30 Min till midnight. So Please try to catch early morning Flights. so that you can save on Travelling time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
