Jobs in US get created because they do bussiness/trade with other countries and when they want to sell thier products to India or any country and make profits for thier companies, whats the problem of giving jobs as well ?? If jobs are decided to be moved to India by thier management, what has an engineer goto do with it?? Let them go and shout on thier CEO/CIO and ask him why he took that decision. Indians working in US, pay taxes, pay social security for the older ppl of US, spend money there - if they don't need Indian engineers , they are welcome to scrap the H1B, in that case the jobs would anyway move to India. If they don't hire Indian and Chinese engineers, simply thier bussinesses cannot run and the younger generation americans are completely irresponsible and very few take up science/engineering.

Also US as a country is no man's land. The whites came there just 200 yrs before Asians. They are not natives of that land and I donno why they think that the land belongs ONLY to them. The killed the native red-indians and stole california, arizona, new mexico and parts of texas from Mexico, Alaska from Russia and they still think that being a white is a big qualification in itself. Goto any tech company and the ones slogging even after working hrs are only Indians and Chinese.

there are better more fun stuff in geography than looking at your indian secular divide. The world is not going to sink if a bengali is called a north indian. the world can sink if we dont study the black hole
Neelima, What percentage in your earnings did you spend on poor, sick, frustrated fellow indians in India when you had your house, cars, bank balances etc.,. Answer to this question will tell us how qualified you are to receive financial and moral help from fellow indians now. And if you win the suit, what percentage are you going spend on what for fellow indians?

She said she was missing support from community. Did you read the article before you write anything. Peace.
The story is very plausible. Americans can be extremely nasty as a race when it comes to hurting their own interests. Texas is a particularly bad state in such cases. All laws can be thrown to the dustbin by the conspirators, and more than often the local courts, where judges are elected, go along with the dirty tricks. Hence Indians, who are trying to show their own personal prejudices should stop for a moment, and reflect that they can be a victim tomorrow, and there will be no one coming to their aid then. I will like to see the Indian English media to show some scruples and highlight this example of the racist character of Americans. Will these doulble talking Indian media barons ever have the gump to do so? I certainly congratulate Rediff for bringing forth the case.
The lady should continue to fight in higher courts and propagate her case internationally through US media, who are sometimes willing to expose such cases. I wish her best of luck.

Quite right sir.But the media in inddia is not a socially responsible media, who would fight for a working NRI in the US.It will only take up the cause of Shilpa Shetty, who was racially abused in a third rated realty show in UK.But there are stringent laws in the US for racial discrimination. I hope some NRI attorney may go and help her to have justice .
