So everyone with money is culprit ha?? Ok then give me all your money and dont ever think about how to make money again... There is no point in talking about a simple life, those days of clean forests and heathy life are gone so ur philosophy of modesty and simplicity is dead..All that can only be practiced if ur rich..
I m sure if the property of all the Indian Politicians is collected then even Bill Gates ($56 billion )will feel himself poor in comparision to our politicians property as there property will be minimum double of property of Bill Gates.

Power is nothing without money, so money is power and buys strength.. So they need money.. Weather u like it or not everyone wants some power over the other, so he can feel safe.. Money is the tool for help, i am not supporting them, but only telling its inevitable.. Atleast u r blessed to live in country that allows u to earn.. Rather than suffer like Somalia..

I am happy that india has got plenty of rich people but destiny of country is not that rich. i wish our country can be 100% literate with good per capitol income insuring the poorest man , a secure social life and food. Then we can be richest in all respect .

When your mother ( motherland) is poor, hungry, & starving, what is the use of her children becomes rich in the world , these are all paper billioners.
Note that much of this wealth is in paper and not of much real use. In Japan (which Forbes claim has 24 v/s Indis'a 36 billionaires), their GDP is 5 trillion. Their amazing Fortune 100 companies bring in billions of forex into their country. In India, none of these billionaires bring in much wealth/forex if at all that can improve the life of millions. Thats the difference between India and Japan. So though this is a good start, we have a long way to go
RE:Paper billionaires v/s real billions
by shahabas muhsin on Mar 09, 2007 04:04 PM
Its not true that these billionaires and their companies does not bring in foex into the country. If its not Reliance, Infosys, Wipro etc.. then who else is bringing Forex into India. Do you know the growth of forex reserve of india over the past 10 years? Please do some reading before putting these comments.
There is no point in flaunting in the list of Indian billionaires. Rather they should look at the country as such and the number of poor suffering earning less than a $1 a day. What is the use of your money, when it cannot feed the poor. Rather people waste the astronomical sums of money on extravagant weddings of their kith and ken. Finance Minister should think of taking away better part of their wealth; rather than squeezing government servants for petty sums of tax.

I agree fully with Angelica. As said in the article 60% of them made it from scratch. For me they are all an inspiration. Giving to the poor is all a person thing, some would like to publish it others wont. So we may not know what these rich people are doing for thr poor if they dont want us to know.
If i am to give some to the poor i would never want them to be publicised, then you loose the good feeling that you have gained from giving.
I am glad that there are so many rich peoples in the list but where is the money lying with them or with POLITICIANS or for buying BENAMI PROPERTIES.These rich people have guts to fund money to needy organisations intead off funding or wasting there money to show people that they are rich. I pray to god for these rich people to make them mentally strong to do something for there country mens.
Are people jealous of these people. These people have worked hard, they have got the dreams, vision, strugglling in the markets around the world. They have employed millions in India. The will employ more as their bussiness grows. They do a lot on social circle also. Narayanmurthy and his wife devout lot of time and money for the downtrodden. Money dosent come freely, nor should anybody get..!!!
