I am waiting for the day when she becomes PM. Then she will implement her policies all over India. Long Live Mayawati, long live SC/ST/OBC.

mayawati as chief minister is indulging in vote bank politics.on the long run it is not good for our country.first of all state govt.ensure that in idustrial training institutes maximum number of these category like sc/st and obc are enrolled for training.govt. should spend money in form of scholarships to these people along with very poor people.if some thing is imposed there is fall back.new industrialists will go to other states.because a businessman has to depend on skilled labour.if he needs a welder,he will never ask for his caste.when you get your car repaired, you never sk the mechanic to which caste he belongs.make sc/st and obc competent,as mayawati has made herself.education is the key to success.

Mayavathi's Bold Decision
by Krishnamurthy Ramesh on Aug 11, 2007 08:38 AM

Kudos to Madam Mayavathi. When Indira Gandhi was PM she was branded as the only MAN in her cabinet. No doubt Mayavathi Madam is the ONLY MALE CM with an iron hand. If Vallabhai Patel is the IRON MAN of the fifties Mayavathi is the IRON LADY of the post mellenium. We forward castes are indebted to her for life.

This is indeed good move and at least she says something about EBC and not just OBC.

Excellent move
by gurumurthy karthikeyan on Aug 11, 2007 08:25 AM  | Hide replies

Though I've usually been strongly against reservation, this seems like an excellent move. This is a middle ground that leaves everyone happy.

--If you want concessions, you enforce the policy, otherwise, do what you want.--

Finally something good happening in UP
